Blade Runner 2049, I liked it even though I have never seen the original.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle. While not quite as good as the original, it was WAY better than most sequels are (lookin' at you, Catching Fire/The Scorch Trials) and managed to keep most of the humor of the original, while adding in some of its own ("I thought that everything was supposed to be bigger in America! Is this why you always overcompensate with all those massive cars?") and managing to have a serious tone at certain bits (though quoting that would lead to spoilers).

War for the Planet of the Apes.

Pretty damn good, really enjoyed it, though i think Dawn is the best of the three.

Airplane! (1980)

So wacky it's sometimes distracting, but plenty of good laughs throughout. I can see why it's considered one of the best comedy films. XD

Blade Runner 2049

The cinematography is flawlessly beautiful. I love Villeneuve’s works so far and I reckon this is his best to date. The storyline wasn’t nearly so convoluted as the original original (recommend ‘Final Cut’ if you’re going to watch it) and it’s in nicely. I’m yet to discover the fascination with Ryan Gosling. He can act but it’s not powerful or moving or the greatest performance I’ve ever seen; but then that, aptly enough, pairs him well with the always understated Harrison Ford. There was a touch of overacting on the part of the antagonist—who’s character and real name I forget—(methinks trying a little too hard to emulate Rutger Hauer from the original) but it’s essily glossed over by the stunning visuals.

4.5/5 – Dare I say it? It joins my small list of sequels better than the original. It’s a masterpiece of high sci-fi. My only criticism is certain cast members (Gosling was picked for the pull factor, we all know it) and few but noticeable, unnecessary distractions.

At the theater? It. Not bad. I was bored with it but the people I was with liked it.

At home? Kungfu Yoga.

Watched all of the Wallace and Gromit short films (A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave, and A Matter of Loaf and Death which is the last one I watched). They're all so good but my favourite is The Wrong Trousers.

Galaxy Quest. Dear God, that movie is good.

And while it's not technically a movie, and I don't expect many of you would enjoy watching it, the comic dub of The Thought by Starbot is about what would happen if you made a movie based on one of the better Undertale AUs.

Definitely better than the 2nd one, though I wouldn't say better than the 1st one.
