A bunch of supermutants were part of a travelling freak circus, but their caravan is ambushed by raiders and in their rage the super mutants killed everything around the caravan except each other.

Shit Mad Max lore changed?

I have yet to see the new film.

Because in the old films, only gasoline and intact vehicles were rare.

In the old films bullets were uncommon. They bribed Max in the second one with shells for his shotgun, and Humongous only has five rounds for his revolver. In the new one they only have bullets because the Citadel is right next to a lead mine.

I think we should lift the no fun allowed rule for one exception mild passive agressive amusement

Yeah but the films weren't hinged at all on bullets.

I feel like that can't carry over well into a videogame with beat-em-up combat.

I've always wanted to do my own post-NV RP, but those are a dime a dozen.

I do like that, but I'm not sure the Legion could carve their way all the way to Beatty. That's closer to deep NCR territory.

I bought Darkest Dungeon from Steam last night. Been playing it ever since. Very fun rougelike. I can't tell if its the summer heat or the tension that's causing me to sweat profusely. Maybe both...

Naw. Banished gets easy after a while, even with tornados and shit. Same thing for growth, same thing to get food. I do like trying other strategies, like farming villages. I usually play with colonial chrter, which is a great mod and a must for the game.

I've been playing vanilla. The fucking starvation tantrum spirals, man. PTSD and shit.

I have. I've only been purposely hunting them thusfar, so I have yet to be surprised by any, maybe that colors my easy experience with them. It only takes 2 - 3 shots from my recurve bow to take them down.

What character build are you running first?

I'm gonna do my usual sneaky sniper, this time with a silenced hunting rifle  . Definitely running with Dogmeat.

Burly fisticuffs/heavy weapons berserker. Ultimately I want to switch between mini nukes and punching people to death.
