I'm not saying it will, but the possibility of Daybreaker becoming reality is very much real, what I was saying is that if it did happen she'd be the most powerful villain to date, not counting Tirek when he was jacked up on alicorn power.

And saying maybe yes maybe no is not much of a compromise. If we get a vengeful demigod who can command the power of the sun, unbound by moral limitations, she would doubtlessly be the most powerful. Considering she can move the sun she could probably turn Equestria into Mustafar.

Someone look at the bottom of page 381 and tell me what you think? I did the best analysis possible for what pony belongs to which Caste. I can possibly extend it out to even more characters, if there is enough information (from the MLPFIM show or related canon works) about their respective background or family life.

Yes. That's why I said "for all intents and purposes". Meaning, in every practical sense the timelines we saw in the show and that still there are still real despite what Glim Glam did. There not literally the same, but functionally the same.

Again, Discord can control the sun, the moon, clouds, rain, gravity, dirt, animals, plants, the list goes on.

With the fact that there is still a functionally similar timeline where discord kicks both there asses, I still argue the point that Discord could kick her ass even with her being angry.

As I said earlier, it looks like Fluttershy would be an Untouchable if India's caste system applied. But she is such a gentle and meek soul, that I fear that she wouldn't be able to handle the stresses of being apart of the lowest caste in existence (which technically is out of caste). It'd break Fluttershy's heart and make her so sad if she were subjected to the state of Untouchability. She'd need to be punished if her shadow touched the shadow of somepony else of higher caste among many other things that'd make her life more difficult.

Some examples of this might include:

Prohibition from eating with other members
Provision of separate cups in village tea stalls
Separate seating arrangements and utensils in restaurants
Segregation in seating and food arrangements in village functions and festivals
Prohibition from entering into village temples
Prohibition from wearing sandals or holding umbrellas in front of higher caste members
Prohibition from entering other caste homes
Prohibition from using common village path
Separate burial grounds
No access to village's common/public properties and resources (wells, ponds, temples, etc.)
Segregation (separate seating area) of children in schools
Bonded labour
Social boycotts by other castes for refusing to perform their "duties"

I think I might perhaps, try my hand at writing an AU fanfiction of the MLPFIM series, but with the ponies following Caste. I'd need to figure out ways to treat Fluttershy as badly as possible, but I don't think I have the heart to. She is a character I don't hate too much.

I would not characterize Zephyr Breeze as a “bum,” he does have genuine talent as a hairdresser (“mane therapist”) and artist, which, if we take that to be a “service provider,” would make him (and therefore Fluttershy) a Shudra. Further, I think there is some ambiguity about whether working with animals is inherently unclean. Dead animals (particularly cattle, which also explains leatherworking and cobbling) yes, but not live animals, which are what Fluttershy deals with.

Further, the sine qua non of being a dalit is spiritually unclean, not merely unsanitary. (Doctors deal with bodily fluids and sometimes death all the time, but they don’t appear to be inherently “untouchable” in Indian culture; in fact it was a profession any caste could historically engage in.) There’s no aversion to working with animals in the general Equestrian culture that I am aware of, so I don’t think her being a veterinarian makes Fluttershy spiritually unclean.

If you really wanted to be technical about it, you’d try to classify the Mane Six by their jati (which in practice dictated most of cultural practices rather than varna, as there was quite a bit of professional overlap between varna.)
