I'm excited to announce that I've figured out the respective Castes of the main 6 ponies, along with my reasoning.

Brahmin: Twilight Sparkle. Here is a pony who has devoted herself to academics for most of her life and is well connected to Celestia, the ruler of Equestria. It is quite obvious that she is at the top in terms of status. She is truly blessed in life to be all knowing, all powerful, and enlightened, full of Karmic virtue.

Kshatriya: Rainbow Dash. She is a tomboy who clearly has a warrior spirit, the Wonderbolts unit which she is apart of; can be thought of as an air force. She would clearly be in military, so she qualifies for this caste.

Vaishya: Applejack and Rarity. Applejack is a farmer and landowner of Sweet Apple Acres, and Rarity owns one or more boutiques. Both are business ponies and can be thought of as merchants to some extent. Both would qualify for this caste.

Shudra: Pinkie Pie. Pinkie is an employee of the Cakes at Sugarcube Corner but so far as I can tell, is only working class as opposed to being an owner, so this is her status.

Dalit: Fluttershy. I regretfully have to conclude that Fluttershy is an Untouchable. No pony who is higher in Caste should be friends with her at all! Her fate is to be the lowest of the low. She should be scrubbing toilets or whatever else ponies consider the jobs no one else wants to do.

I've concluded this because her brother Zephyr Breeze is a bum, and so too would she, being that she is related to him. Another factor is that she isn't a paid veterinarian to my knowledge, she works (and is in close contact) with animals; which is very unsanitary. Thus, she'd be a Dalit as opposed to a Shudra.

As people should be well aware, caste is something you're born into. This is a fate that Fluttershy can never ever escape from, no matter how unjust or tragically cruel it may seem. She will always be a Dalit, for all eternity. Because that is the caste she is presumably born into.
