Now that the series is complete, what would consider the best episode or episodes of each season (counting two parters as single episodes)? And what episodes would you consider the best for newcomers or fans wanting to catch up?

Fun episode, really wacky and creative, and one of the most action-packed outside of season premieres and finales

Also watched hearth breakers and cutie remark

Hearthbreakers was OK. Not as good as the first hearths warming episode.

Cutie remark was great. Really fun seeing all the alternate realities and starlight glimmers back story. Had some great action scenes, and I liked all 3 of the main alt worlds (sombra war, chrysalis forest and nightmare moons eternal night) and the brief glimpses of others were a nice touch. Reminded me of astro City where samaritan and infidel kept fighting and creating alternate realities. Final song was great.

So, I find the Rainbow Roadtrip special to be the weakest in terms of plot out of any special I've seen from MLP overall- ever. It is a key reason why I didn't want to finish the last season anytime soon. Because I have to find a way to budget in an hour special in terms of time.

A town's population growing distant or apart emotionally doesn't equate to a place "losing its color" else, why don't that happen to Manehatten for example? It isn't just an everyday occurence and had to have involved something more substantial. It was nonsensical so far as what caused plot.

But oh well. It is about on the same level as that Powerpuff girls' episode with the clown that turned stuff black and white. Now that was a cool evil doer power. I wouldn't have minded someone there stealing all the color there is to sell portions of it back at very exorbitant prices.

Watched hearths warming eve again and a hearths warming tail. Both are pretty good cartoon Christmas episodes. Eve gave us some backstory and added to the world building of the show, and tail had some great musical numbers and was a fun retelling of a Christmas carol.

Hi, I'm wondering if I should watch this. I saw a few seconds of an episode muted and the animation looked cool. I've read some Zelda/MLP crossover fics and I liked those.
