I haven't watched a full episode of the show in a while, but I've enjoyed the clips I've seen on Youtube and My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Choose Your Own Ending videos. I'm kind of sad the show is over, but it does give me a chance to catch up (along with Adventure Time, Gumball, The Lion Guard, Star Vs the Forces of Evil, Steven Universe and Gravity Falls; I watched the final season of Regular Show but not all the ones before that). I'll probably watch the FiM season 3 episodes I didn't see before (I know it is considered one of the weaker seasons but still I'd like to watch them just to see what I think).

G4 is not quite over though as the Equestria Girl Holiday Special is due in November, the season 10 comics are out in April 2020 and there's a stage musical next year (March)!

I guess they want to keep it a surprise. It's an original story not directly based on the TV show, Comics or Movie but with the same main characters and setting.

Then again, considering the same characters are supposed to be in G5....

I propose a theory that since Queen Chrysalis is a bug horse, that she molts, since her skin is an exoskeleton. Which means that somewhere in Equestria, there are a few discarded used exoskeleton belonging to Queen Chrysalis.
