Very often, some stupid melody sticks into my head, so I am humming it or moving on it for weeks.

don't tell me it's not catchy

or there you have silly football song from my homeland
This I listen since I was 8. :p
"Those who reached my boundary, their seed is not; their hearts and their souls are finished forever and ever. As for those who had assembled before them on the sea, the full flame was their front before the harbour mouths, and a wall of metal upon the shore surrounded them. They were dragged, overturned, and laid low upon the beach; slain and made heaps from stern to bow of their galleys, while all their things were cast upon the water." - Ramesses III., Battle of the Delta

It is just cute.

Gummy worms are best bait for silly fish.

Catch and release only, of course.

Intended Lesson: Teamwork requires cooperation, some discussion and finality. Actual Lesson: Don’t do what RD and AJ did.

I’ve heard poor things about this episode, and, true to guarding the show’s integrity, they did not lie. Besides the nagging feeling that AJ and RD should be behind seeing everything as a potential game, the resolution of the student’s cognitive dissonance over the actions of their teachers really came out of the blue. Saying what is not tells you nothing about what is, strictly speaking. And if that is the case, the students didn’t learn a damn thing from them. Their friendship and concern for their friends and teachers is what drove their actions, not animosity toward the bad models. The kids should have said “we realized that teamwork flows naturally from our empathy toward others,” especially when they never believed AJ and RD were teamwork paragons, and Twilight even highlighted so in front of the kids (roughly). And the kids never even thought to act out their bad models, which would be more likely IRL. Hay, Twilight probably would have been happier for them for teaching themselves, and yet she just acted in front of the children as if the taken lesson were sincere, and inadvertently reinforces the hierarchical model of teaching that really doesn’t do wonders for the child in the long run.

Apparently the school’s already been around for a while. It’s not unheard of for the show to skip around from a more linear timeline, but it does seem a bit jarring when this is really the first time since “School Daze” that an episode put the kids front and nearer to the center (they really didn’t have much of a role in “Horse Play”).

Even the “real” teamwork seemed a bit artificial. The kids really had no need to distract the piranhas in order to save the teachers, so Ocellus’ role seems more or less grafted on just for humor’s sake. Why couldn’t she have just been the coordinator? Teamwork does require some hierarchy, and we don’t get that impression here.

I’ve seen more orderly behaviour in a Monty Python skit—the writer and producers still needed a serious lesson in teamwork.
I’m mostly here for... something to do, I suppose.

I liked this episode better when it was called "Fall Weather Friends".
