People are social creatures. Having a "community", even one as small and silly as "group that talks about pastel horses on a website about running pretend countries", can do a world of good. Bad actors can easily negate any benefits said community might provide, but luckily we don't get too many of those here.

If "stop liking what I don't like" is the worst of it, as it usually is, then it's a fair bit healthier than even my old Facebook wall that only had relatives added.
