If their foe is as the polish translations says "The Storm King" perhaps we should be more focused on a Westerosi foe The Storm King was the title the kings of the Storm Lands House Durrandon before they were extinguished in the male line and the last female married Orys Baratheon with him taking the House Arms and Words of the fallen house during Aegon's conquest. Perhaps the downfall of there house in Westeros caused a whiplash across the planes of reality to Equestria?

So they head off to follow the trail of the missing magic using the ancient magic-tracking macguffin. They follow the trail all the way to the coast. Obligatory Pinkie Pie “Alright! Beach day!” facepalm-inducing Shut Up You Pink Idiot joke.

Holy shit there’s a seapony in the Tidepool because Buy Our Toys. Seapony says they were sent to find the Great Heroes of Equestria to ask for their help. They all go along with Seapony back to the enchanting and enchanted and very beautiful seafloor queendom of the seaponies. Fluttershy loses her shit over all the pretty fishies and Rarity loves the mother-of-pearl inlays on everyfuckingthing.

After seeing what a wonderful and very nice place the Seaponies live in they go meet with the Seapony queen who explains Storm King must have stolen Equestria’s magic, because he’s been trying to steal the Seapony magic too, and asks for help stopping him in exchange for help getting their magic back.

The Pirates are there, doing…stuff? Because…that’s what the kids are into these days I guess. They help ponies get to Storm Kingdom. Take along seapony’s broke-horn second-in-command as extra muscle. Insert catchy song about how pirates are lovable scoundrels here.

They get to the Storm Kingdom and it’s damn near bursting with magic. Just magic out the absurdly magical wazoo. They charge right up and confront Storm King. “Gib magic now”. Big fight. BIIIIIIG fight. Tirek-ain’t-shit-kiddos big. They eventually beat Storm King because friendship, demand he give back all the stolen magic.
“I ain’t stole shit.” WHAT. When they air it on Hub Discovery Kids this is where they’ll put a commercial break.

Merpony queen shows up, starts monologueing. Big “I’m the real villain” speech. Turns out she’s the one who stole Equestria’s magic, and now that Storm King had his butt whooped by the M6 she’s gonna’ take his magic too. “But why?” Seaponies don’t actually have their own magic, and rely on stolen magic to keep their beautiful magic home all beautiful and magic.

M6 are exhausted from the fight with Storm King, and now they have to fight Seapony Queen who’s all hopped up on stolen magic. Things look dire until -surprise!- they pull some rainbow power magic or other bullshit-ex-machina out of their pastel asses. Seapony queen is beat, Storm King and Equestria get magic back. Everyone learns an important lesson about not judging based on appearances (“Our bad Storm King, you just look a lot like this one asshole we fought exactly once”), Seapony queen fucks off to the bottom of the ocean to sulk, swearing revenge as the door hits her on the tail on the way out, setting up a potential sequel that they’ll probably never get around to. Roll credits.

And that's why you don't give Draggy caffeine on a Monday night.

It would certainly be interesting, that's for sure. I just hope the Storm King isn't Tirek v2, regardless of what they do with him.
