Paladins are now EVERYWHERE on the ladder.

My Mech mage deck (I'm tech-ing Blood Knights and Kezan Mystics to counter Paladdin) can still defeat them.

The other deck I'm running is the new totem Shaman. It works very well against Priests and Druids. However, on average its not a very good match-up against Paladin and it gets absolutely wrecked by Hunters.

Honestly though, I really dislike the Justice Trueheart card.

Its really broken when Warrior brings it out and starts adding 4 armour every turn for 2 mana.

I recommend running Mech Mage, curving low, and tech-ing in two Blood Knights and two Kezan Mystics.

Hunter is very cheap to craft.

It has a reputation for being Cheap but it has its weaknesses.

Midrange and Face Hunter are generally good against Shamans, classic Warlock, and aggro Paladins. However, some forms of decks like Mech Mage can beat them. Against Priest, Warrior, and Druid its almost certainly an auto-concede.

Its just that in the current Meta, with the rise of Aggro Paladin decks its not that bad of an option.

Why do you not like Hunters?

I feel like the Face Hunter is fairly over-rated. While NOW it is a good option (with the large waves of people playing Shock Paladins due to the new TGT cards)... it wasn't so much a great option last season at the higher echelons with the large numbers of people playing Control/Patron Warriors.

Face Hunter actually has a large number of match-ups that are pretty much Auto-Concedes if the opponent knows what they are doing.

Murloc Knight is cool.

Face hunter is much weaker against opponents that can heal themselves. In addition to what Infected mushroom said, you should definitely try healbots. They restore 8x2=16 hp.

With the league of explorer's coming up, I'm thinking of creating a midrange shaman deck that utilizes that 1 1,3 Murloc that discovers a new hero power. Also looking for an aggro battle cry deck.

Only Mage for ranked. Tempo Mage as of recently. Previously it was Mech Mage.

For Arena I do alright with Mage, Rogue and Paladin.

I've found Grand Crusader to be quite an intriguing addition to the Tempo Mage archetype.

Just looked at the card list, looks pretty cool. I can just imagine so many combos. That epic that makes cards cost one? Play it, hope it survives a turn. Then play aviana, run the epic into something, play 5 minions that only cost 1 mana each.

Also, the "full health for only 1 copy of each card" thing? That. Is. Awesome. Legendary Decks! Hyper Versatility non-legendary decks!
I enjoy role-playing and ponies. I'm also descended from French kings, English kings, and Vikings. Can't speak anything other than English though.

Eh, I can't imagine it seeing a lot of play.

But definitely astral communion decks will have it in there.

I approve of the Warsong Commander nerf. Grim Patron Warrior was too annoying to play against.

My idea: reduce health by 1. That way, it can't duplicate nearly as well.

Its insanely annoying that every deck on the ladder had to sacrifice at least some economy of strategy (such as by tech-ing Flamestrike or Starfall) to prevent the sudden launching of a patron combo that turns a game around (even when you had a solid lead in board control). It also led to strange tactical considerations such as ''I shouldn't leave any minions on the board alive that have an attack less than 3 in case his Patron jumps down and clones.''

Considering this is the second Warsong nerf I think we can safely conclude the concept behind Warsong commander was too broken.

At this point I only really play the arena, tavern brawl, or the solo play adventures. Playing ranked or unranked just gets too frustrating as I haven't, and won't, sink the time or cash into getting the best cards. So I get matched up 7 times out of 10 with a player with a card I can't beat with regular cards and it just becomes frustrating.
