Dunno if it matters, but I changed my Steam name as well. Not massively different, though.

Steam deal time limits are annoying. Gift cards are also annoying, having to register them first before making online purchases.

I now have to sit and wait and watch the deals pass by and expire as I await my gift card to drop its "pending charge" (which takes a week).

I guess I get to wait again, for the winter sales :P

For anyone wondering, I joined this website during my edgy teenage years. I made a lot of dumb, awkward posts, flip-flopped between various extreme ideologies, and just generally embarrassed myself. I denounce a sizable amount of my past posts. I am no longer active on NationStates and this nation/account is no longer used.

This is a "gift card" gift card - some other visa card. Apparently I didn't register the gift card properly before I made online purchases, and now this is what I get.

I only thought that applied to the steam market deal. I've only experienced it with the marketplace, never the store.

It's only happened me with inventory items, e.g. you can't sell or trade them for one week. For some stupid reason.

It wasn't an issue with the Steam things - it was an issue with online registration of the card and verification with the Visa Card to Steam. I was stupid and didn't verify the card first before making purchases.

But all is well now, and I so totally jumped on the Total War sales :D
