Yep, head canon. Some 2001 or Mass Effect stuff happened and some random object on a planet became super intelligent and able to produce a physical(?) body.

So now we know that the Cluster isn't the Geode, and that it is indeed a giant forced fusion. And we can surmise that rain doesn't exist on Homeworld. Nor does thunder. Barren world, perhaps?

Whatever the case, way more than I expected from an episode about Steven's "friend" being scared of rain.

Edit: also, young Peridot effectively confirmed, though it's not clear how much. So much development in so little time.

I think the Geode is the hatching place of the Cluster. It'll eventually dig up towards it and try to hatch from it.

Also, I think Peridot's visor thing is actually part of her face. Cause I just noticed she regenerated with them. Garnet had to make a new pair of shades when she came back.

Probably a tear. The raindrops on her seem to be a different color and are more prone to making little sprinkles. Plus, it's coming out of her visor, and if rain can get in her visor, then it's obviously not a terribly good visor, now is it?
