I rewatched a few of the older episodes and I would like to rescind my comment about the other gems listening to Steven. I just feel like Garnet is harder on Steven then the other gems as she's always the one to dole out punishment. Certainly not a bad thing but I think people forget just because Garnet's the pure manifestation of lesbian love she can make mistakes like punishing Steven when it's not warranted.

And Pearl was different back then...

She acted much more protective and... I don't know, it felt like she was the kind of guy who used big words to sound intelligent.

Speaking of Greg, he apparently lives in his van, cause nearly every cent he makes goes to paying for the house on the beach. Electricity and whatnot, since the Gems don't have jobs...really makes Pearl seem like a dick for that "No one has to live with us" comment.

Really, why doesn't Greg just live in the beach house? It's not like it's any more dangerous then the rest of beach city. Other then the occasional breakfast monster.

I also don't think that Pearl would necessarily enjoy having Greg around all the time.

Considering she ain't the one paying the bills (unless she's working some side job that we haven't learned about yet), I don't think it's necessarily her place to complain :)

Well, Amethyst is a wrestler, though it's unspecified whether or not she receives any winnings from her matches.

I'd bet Greg uses his money from the car wash to pay the bills. Or they just use magic to make everything run in the beach house.

Greg is respectful of the gems and they'd be uncomfortable with him living with them.

I always thought, I might be bad,
Now I'm sure that it's true,
'cause I think you're so good,
And I'm nothing like you.

Oh my gosh.
These end credits are so good.
But this has to be from Peridot to Steven, right?

And for reference, the last ending theme was
If I could begin to be,
Half of what you think of me,
I could do about anything,
I could even learn how to love.

When I see the way you act,
Wondering when I'm coming back,
I could do about anything,
I could even learn how to love like you.

Peridot to Steven later in the series, if Peridot does get a redemption.

That makes NO sense. Rose knows how to love already, with her love of the CGs, Earth, Greg, and Steven.

About Peridot? That doesn't really make any sense considering the lyrics started before she was even introduced into the show. It doesn't fit her character either honestly. I think it's either about Lapis, Rose Quartz or something else.

I'm talking about Nothing like You. And the lyrics to the ending theme were introduced in Jailbreak.

But I think Love like You is from Lapis to Steven.

But honestly, I could be wrong. I mean, Nothing like You was made in Nightmare Hospital, so...
I dun know.
