I found "Bluebird" and "A Very Special Episode" delightful and necessary breathers after the heavy "Volleyball". Next week we have what will probably be a heavier episode in "Why So Blue?" after "Snow Day".

Exactly. My issue with Onion (And Ronaldo now that you mention him) is that they're the same gag they were in season 1. Everyone on this show has evolved. Even ones I once found totally insufferable like Sadie and Lars have grown. These two are the same characters from when the biggest conflict on this show was fighting a possessed mascot costume. And it got old a while ago.

That Shep was constantly referred to as "they" and as "Sadie's partner" didn't clue you into the fact that they were nonbinary? I mean at that point the only thing the show could do to make it more explicit is hold up a sign that said "NONBINARY RIGHTS"

nonbinary people are those who do not align fully with either gender, but rather often fall somewhere in between.

Nonbinary means that someone doesn't really align with the standard main gender binary. For reference: Androgyny accepts both standard male and female traits, while Nonbinary rejects standard male and female traits.

Also, what do you expect? He has an entire school to run and also needs to act as an intergalactic dignitary.
