Yeah, the fandom is a little...much. Like when they harassed Lauren Zuke off Twitter. But don't let them scare you off a good show. Which this is. Starts off kinda eh, but then it gets into its swing around "Bubble Buddies".

I knew this wasn't a freaking coincidence. Tumblr made the connection between Spinel and that song like an hour after that movie...also, movie spoiler if you haven't seen it yet.

Oh yeah, nah, SU fandom can be crazy. I don't really take part in it.

The shows is worth it, I'd say. It isn't perfect, but it's a nice show, and if you're a fan of singing, its certainly got its share of catchy songs. The first season is a little slow, but even the sillier episodes build towards the story a little, so it's kino.

I was actually a little skeptical of the show when it was first being aired, and I thought it would just be another silly cartoon I didn't like, but I was surprised when I actually got to watching it.

absolutely. it's my favourite!

I just have watched couple first minutes of movie.
I know that's classing fairy tale opening movie has.
Still sent me rolling, because my mind started to replace the opening narration with "Once upon time in magical land of Equestria...".

And we may never know, according to this interview she just gave for Forbes.

I always want there to be a little bit of mystery to the Gems and what they are.

I want to give just enough information to keep pulling the curtain back, little by little. There are things about Gems that even Gems don’t understand. But we do, as we’re writing the show.

Modern cartoons hadn't frightened me as much since Over the Garden Wall. Steg's appearance just threw me off completely.

I thought the movie was ok. The songs were especially good.

No, just that scene. They brought in a guy from Studio Trigger to animate her introductory fight.

Well it's supposed to be Gehrman, the First Hunter, who I got reminded of for some reaon (scythe I guess), so that's why I picked the epithet.

And now a lesson in poor wording. This lady named Angie Wang who works on the show tweeted out this.


Naturally, a few people flipped the F out cause that obviously sounded like the show was wrapping. She had to clarify it was just her last day on the show.

...Damn near gave me a heart attack.

Well, it's one of those Good News-Bad News deals.

The Good News: Season 6 is indeed happening.
The Bad News: It's the final one.

I just noticed the faces on the cactus thing look sort of like Steven, the Watermelon Stevens evolved! I thought it was one of those Gem mutants at first.
