He asked for covers. It's probably the most well-known War Ensemble cover.

If done properly it sounds like a combination of Electric Rattlesnake (song) Phantom Antichrist (album) and Napalm Death
it borrows the heaviness of Teutonic Thrash, a little bit of east coast punk and some death metal/grindcore courtesy of the Florida Death Metal scene.
BLOODVOLT (version 2)
Debut album will be Slaughterrific it will be fast, loud, and raw.
It will (hopefully) utilize more drum solos and notable bass sections. Guitars are double rhythm with solos and they shred like industrial grade machines
lyrics are just the angsty teen bs like slaughter, mass murder, kill em all, global extermination and blood and carnage

I have a vocal and unplugged tempo strum only demo for our first song (not counting the intro)

The follow up album Toolshed Revolution will be a lot more mature lyricly and will feature better production

Well, alright, but wouldn't it better to just make the first album mature right away? I mean, if you're feeling angsty, then by all means do it, but just don't force it.

I wanted to be 16 again with the intact vocal chords and lyrics involving extra murder, electricity and blood
though I won't (can't) recycle BLOODVOLT v1 songs so this process will be a lot longer and more tedious
You can't be Slayer and Cannibal Corpse and expect to live off blood and gore your whole career
I'm also the kind of person who believes an album needs to follow a theme
So while Slaughterrific will be purely heavy thrash about a terrific slaughter Toolshed will deal more with social unrest, revolution and civilization collapse

did you check metal archives?
also for a band name Arsenal of Democracy would probably insinuate that you play in an absurd patriotic power metal band that is only known for one good song

I did check the archives.

Yeah, either that or some Thrash Metal band.

But we are still pretty unsure as far as genre goes. He's a slightly better guitar player than me, and we're both around the upper intermediate level. My playing style is very Amon Amarth or Dethklok like, with low toned tremolo picking and more melodic playing, whereas his is very thrashy and usually more technical. We're trying to meet somewhere in the middle.

Blackened Death Thrash? wot

And despite my current traits as far as guitar playing goes, my soloing is quickly going down the Yngwie route of maturbatory "look what I can do" style playing. Kind of the opposite of how I play under every other circumstance. In either case, we still need to get a band together before any of this can become anywhere close to reality.

Meanwhile there only like 15 musicians where I live and only about 6 of them are into metal...and most of those are either Pantera fanatics or ego-crazed douchebags. There's a drummer that I might be able to get but he's so busy all the time that it'd be impossible to arrange anything (I've tried).

My ego knows no bounds. The only thing that keeps my vanity in check is the fact that people will like me more if I'm not an outwardly egotistical douchebag, therefore, they feed my ego more. This is where all the ego flows out into so that I can be kind in real life.

I mean, let's face it, pretty much every metal musician has a bit of an ego, some more than others. But when it comes down to drummers refusing to play gigs because they don't want to carry their kit around to small venues and guitarists that would make Dave Mustaine look like a Saint then it's a bit of an issue.

The most mysterious of all egos is the bass player's ego. In many cases, they have less than half the talent of every other bandmate, and could easily be replaced in the studio by either guitar player, yet their egos are so massive they make UY Scuti look like a speck of dust.

And, though I think they are disgusting, Cradle of Filth.

Older or Newer Napalm Death? A crusty sounding War Ensemble would be pretty cool, switching between barked vocals and pig squeals.

You could also replace the guitar solo with a bass solo. That would kinda cool.

Every time I've tried to start a band, people have dropped out, been too busy or were shocked by my tastes in music....Tried to start a deathcore band when I was younger, with me being a vocalist. All the members went off to start a Avenged Sevenfold clone. I tried again but couldn't find a drummer and the bassist left. Later, I tried to start a traditional hardcore band. Black Flag or Minor Threat style. Didn't last. The other guys liked pop punk instead. Then, tried to start a grindcore band. All the members wanted to play Avenged Sevenfold-style metal instead.

So, I'm convinced that, if I start a band, It will be me, myself and I alone. Maybe session members.

Clearly you know too many Avenged Sevenfold fans. Since I hardly even know that band, we might have been able to start a band. However, I have no skills whatsoever in the field of instruments. I'm more one of those people who buy music of the bands after the show. Today I saw Fister and Primitive Man, by the way. Pretty good sludge/death doom bands from the USA. Slow and immense riffs combined with desperate death growls and thunderous rhythms. It was quite pleasant for all the right reasons.

At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

I've thought about making a strange ska and powerviolence mixed solo project, with some black metal-liek riffs and vocals.

Though, I can't play drums nor do I have money.
