What bands do you listen to? I listen to some death and doom, but not really any thrash.

I'm not really a fan of listening to belt sanders plugged into synthesizer pedals myself. Just learn how to play guitar. Once you get to high school people will constantly barrage you with compliments and exclamations of astonishment. Plus, it helps vent anger.
