IRL my only issue that you listed is sleep schedule (I don't have one). My bandmate, on the other hand...

and as for drugs marijuana doesn't count because unless you're doping up before a show there's no issues really

I'm a huge introvert on stage, too; I think one of the reasons I want to get into shoegaze is so that I can get away with just staring at my feet for entire concerts. :p

If by -core, you mean breakdowns, I have seen Panopticon use them before. They were pretty good.

As for an entire genre devoted to them, no. That would be bad.

I feel like if I cared to be in a "band", I'd probably want to be a one-man band, too. I'm the type that prefers to work alone than working with others all the time. Mostly because other people are unreliable (Not that I'm not, either) and I'd rather go at my own pace :P

I would love to do a one-man band as a side project if I knew how to play other instruments.

Just include your logo and that should be fine. If it's just text by itself then it won't catch peoples' eyes, but if you have a picture (especially if it's a metal band logo), people will stop and at least see what it is.
