Whole bands didn't generally trendhop, but individual musicians did. I am personally in between. I find his views hilarious and he seems like he would be a pretty nice guy in person despite me being episcopal. His music is great but I know some people either worship him or despise him to the point of refusing to listen to any of his music.

What is your guys stance on the guy?

We've had plenty of discussion about Varg here. If you want to read what we think about him, just go through the last 100 pages. Most people here despise him or make fun of him, though there's also a fanboy or two. I like some of his music and don't give a shit about his ideology or actions.

Most of his music is very "meh" in my opinion, the first couple albums being exceptions. Overall he seems like one of the most annoyingly detestable extremists out there, and that's saying something. It still surprises me that he has fans. Then again people like Donald Trump so I guess anything could happen.
