Bullshit.

You are starting to run out because you don't bother to try and leave your safety zone.

My mind is open. I tried some stuff and I didn't like it. Move on, dude. At least I'm still spelunking. Do you even leave the comforts of your precious Extreme Metal Fortress™?

And I'll get a job when I have a way to get to one.

Being the usual agitator, I see. Why the hell do you find it necessary to ruin this thread with your neverending negative behaviour?

You need Burzum. Now.

And someone get Hjalmarr to bow down before this guy!

What's more: I'm German too, on top of being Scot(ch)-Irish (which the Nazis thought were part of the "superior Nordic Race", except for the Welsh for whatever reason, I dunno, they were high on something).

Kar, listen to the album Aenigma by In Vain.

I discovered it this week and am in love. It's progressive/melodic metal with some screaming/growling, but it's mixed in with lots of great clean vocal parts too so maybe it will go down easier for you. They have quite a varied sound, and even use a saxophone in a few songs (the last one is the best).

Kia, weren't you like the only one here that didn't dislike Lamb of God? You never recommended them to me. I have yet to hear them.

I'll give it a listen.

Iskra - Bureval is speedy and kinda aggressive.

Edit: I don't much care for Lamb of God, mediocre music and boring vocals.

Wow, okay, so I'm a bit surprised with myself here.

I'm actually enjoying this album that Cosumar recommended, even with the growls. It sounds pretty fucking epic, and the combination of both harsh and clean vocals is surprisingly good. I would go so far as to say I don't even think this album is even 'meh'. It's better than 'meh'. It's pretty fucking epic.

I don't even mind the growls.

Theres enough clean vocals in here for me to enjoy, and the music is fucking fantastic.

I can see Kar liking Pale Communion and Damnation. He might even make it through Deliverance.

I'm not raving about it.

If you go into it with high expectations, you'll be disappointed. But it's still a great album.

Of course it was an exaggeration on my part but everyone seems to be talking about it a lot lately. Not to forget, two my friends went to see Opeth today, they play Deliverance in it's entirety.

Except Kia constantly does some bating.

By the way Kar, I didn't used to like death metal or black metal, either, so you MAY evolve into tolerating them. I mean, most of the time I still don't care for either, but both have grown on me considerably. A black metal album even became my favorite album of the year in 2013 (I think?). So who knows, you may grow into it. I even went through a phase where I could barely tolerate metal, which was odd since I've always listened to metal due to my dad, but I got over that, too.

Reason why I put both on my ignore list.
