Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

Your grandfather must have been awesome.

He still is. It's not really his type of music though, I'm not sure why he had it.

Opposite here, I found Taylor Swift on my dad's iTunes account even though he likes older rock and jazz.
Lars Ulrich: Hello, Dave. Look at your band. Now back to mine. Now back at your band. Now back to mine. Sadly, your band isn't mine, but if they stopped playing pure thrash metal and switched to a tough guy version of Motley Crue, they could sell like they're Metallica! Look down, back up, where are you? You're on the high road, taking it higher like a super collider. That album was great. What's in your hand, back at me. I have it, it's a hard drive with all the private information of the users we banned from Napster. Look again, the hard drive is now Babymetal. Anything is possible when your band reeks of pop. I'm wearing a thong.

Varg Vikernes can fuck off.

Holy fuck, I didn't even know that Swallow the Sun had released some new songs from their upcoming album Songs from the North I, II & III. I am glad to see that they are continuing their usual formula (as seen in "Heartstrings Shattering") and it's also a nice change that they are going to include acoustic songs into the album (as seen in "Pray For The Winds To Come"). Out of what I have heard so far, both songs sounded great and this makes me even more excited for the album.

Unless I'm mistaken, she used to be somewhat country-ish. That might explain it.

Yes, she started off as a Country artist before going to Pop.

Regardless though, no one really limits their musical tastes to one or two single genres anyway. Theres always something in a certain genre that can attract someones interest even if that person doesn't have a taste for that specific genre. Maybe it's just one song, one album, one band/artist, or even one subgenre, but it's still there.

I mean, I like Amon Amarth when I can't even stand most Death Metal. Case in point.

Between this, Repentless and Megadeth's single, it seems that Metallica is the only one of the Big Four that has yet to get their shit together.

Their latest album was in 2008 and it was a pretty damn good album too. Supposedly they're making a new album, which hopefully won't end up as another Load or St. Anger.

They seem to take long breaks between albums like GNR.

And against all expectations, it'll be the most vicious thrash metallica since Ride the Lightning.

It would've been better if the four weakest songs were replaced with Beyond Magnetic EP.
