It's more logical to assume that Joseph got her pregnant before they got married, a sin that was usually punished with stoning someone to death. Their travel to Bethlehem and Egypt was probably the only way left to them to avoid death by religious law.

Like I said, you probably did do your research, so I understand that. It just came off as that to me. And it sounds like you have listened to a fair amount to get a general idea, so yeah.

And I don't open my mind THAT wide . I'm very picky with what I like. But I just like a bit of everything. So I just automatically wonder how close-minded and ignorant of certain things people are when they're calling others close-minded and ignorant. Intentionally or not. And as I believe I said, including myself.

And I do think I'm better than some close-minded people, yes, but it depends on what it is. At least, mentally somewhere I can feel like that. I'm sure we all do at some point, though.
