Uh-huh, you realize its a kids show right? Trying to teach children friendship, and yadda yadda? Forgiveness is something they teach. In the context we view it as, it seems a bit strange. For the marketed audience, they don't really get that.

Or, have you forgotten that the purpose of a show existing can and often will influence what happens in it? Certainly not the first time MLP has done it. I'm sure most would agree, Trixie should be in prison after that, and in any real nation would be. But this is show is designed to teach children about friendship, and forgiveness is part of that. The message of the show > logic. Argue Hasbro on it if you want, and good luck with that.

My point is that Sunset Shimmer only came second in the Redemption and Forgiveness race. In general, making up new Elements of Harmony should be solely part of bad fanfiction.

Pacifica: Pre-teen, mocking bitch. Who is Pavlovian conditioned to obey by her greedy, classist parents. And who saved half the town from the Lumberjack Ghost by honoring the deal her ancestors welched on.

Tirek is a super villian. Trixie isn't even in the same class. Evil amulet or not. Oh, and that amulet? It corrupts it's wearer, Ameri. Did yah forget that? She wanted it to show up Twilight after she was embarrassed the last time, knowing the magic in it would make hers better. Poor Trixie didn't know, it was corruptive as well. So, yeah, it made her a complete sociopath.

And when its removed? Well whoda thought, the corrupting influence of it was removed as well! The normal then Trixie, began to apologize. Without being corrupted by evil dark magic. Weird how that works isn't it?

You're getting it anyway, tough shit, get over it Ameri. It's not changing. It's in the damned episode, Hasbro put it there, the intent of showing forgiveness to be important. Bitch all you want. You lose out, it happened, it's going to have always happened, and it was done intentionally. Whether you accept the reasoning to it or not.

And whose to say she isn't changed? We've not seen Trixie since that episode, to my memory. You wouldn't know, nor would anyone else.
