Whenever I do a second play through of an RPG (Elder Scrolls, Fallout, etc) where I get to completely make my own character, I always roleplay them.

One time while doing a roleplay in New Vegas I put on a mod that cancels out all damage and purposely made my character as stupid and unperceptive as possible, while maxing out his strength and endurance. Everything else just didn't get touched, though I slowly made my character luckier with the Intense Training perk.

I roleplayed him as an incredibly tough moron just sort of bumbling through the Mojave and getting dragged into things by sheer luck. The only weapons he used were the ones he picked up off of enemies, since I roleplayed him as being too dumb to figure out basic math or how money works.

He eventually ended up in full power armor with a nuke launcher, because the bright colors from the explosion were pretty, and the clicky sounds afterwards made him feel all warm inside.

I named him Lenny.

The joke was that, even though he was getting hit with everything bad under the sun, he was too stupid and unperceptive to realize it should be hurting him. So it didn't.

Eventually, after many, many run ins with merchants and having collected more than a million caps (Lenny liked to collect them since they were shiny and fit into his pickets easily) he eventually figured out that money = being allowed to take stuff. So basically he would take a random amount of bottle caps from his pocket (I just removed them from my inventory) and would help himself to whatever he wanted in the shop. When the merchant would inevitably try to kill him for stealing, Lenny would get confused and angry, so he'd try and shove them away.

Which almost always resulted in them dying horribly for some reason. Lenny could never really connect the two.

Lenny didn't really like being told what to do, so after bumbling along with the NCR for a while, he got bored and ended up becoming bestest buddies with Caesar. But then he met Mr. House, and Mr. House had a really cool house and lots of fun talky toy things to play with, so he ended up helping him. And then Mr. House did something to upset Lenny (can't actually remember what) and eventually Lenny ended up smashing all of Mr. House's stuff.

Lenny decided that he liked Mr. House's stuff (well, what was left) and his cool house, so he figured it would probably be okay if he lived there. But he still wanted to be buddies with the nice guy at the NCR place and Caesar, so he decided to pay them a visit. But Lenny got really confused and upset when they started attacking him. Luckily, he instantly knew what was wrong. They must be mad because Lenny hadn't visited them in so long!

Lenny decided to try and play tag with his friends to make them happy again, but they didn't really try and run away, and whenever he'd tag them stuff would fly off and he'd get this weird sauce on his hands. Lenny didn't like that. Eventually his friends all decided to take really long naps, and didn't really hang out with him anymore.

Any by the end of it the Mojave ended up being ruled by a mentally deficient Hercules, who I imagine after ruling for several weeks wandered off one day out of boredom, and will probably end up in Boston soon.

Is it good for an MMO? Or is it even good for an Elder Scrolls game?

The original release was shit, the new model isn't awful. I don't think it'll do much for you if you're into only end game, though.

Eh it was alright, i only ever played the beta and felt it was very average overall. Nothing really stood out from it that interested me that much.

It was all just average to me, nothing was really good or really bad though having to sit for around twenty minutes to kill a quest target because there are thirty dead bodies of said target over its spawn and like a hundred other players waiting was fucking annoying. Ive dealt with that before in other similar games but no where near that level, and the loot tended to be shite and not really worth it imo.

Crafting is pretty important in MMO's. If I get it, I'll treat it as an MMO, not as an ES game.

Yeah but i got so damned little with the material gathering in order to craft stuff as well. Might have changed it after the beta i dont know but it was annoying as fuck getting so little for all that work it got really annoying to the point where i could not be bothered trying to make stuff.

Thing is, while in most MMOs dungeons and raids provide the best gear, in ESO it's crafting that provides the best gear.

Which sucks, as there's absolutely no reward for doing Dungeons this way, the game instead forcing you to craft thousands of daggers.

Well I'll probably wait a week or two and see how the console versions work out. Until then, I have Oblivion to fill my ES needs.

And I guess watching my sister play Skyrim, which is hilarious because she is terribly bad.
