We aren't going to hear anything about New Vegas in a game taking place on the other side of the continent. If anything, you should be interested in the obvious homages they're paying to the classic titles.

Pro-tip: Low Yield are the handiest of all mini nukes.

But I like the big boom. :(

Heh. Now I kinda wanna go Legion, just so I can nuke Kimball.

Low Yield combines big boom with not dying for firing it and hitting anything less than a mile away from you. Low Yields usually kill anything a regular nuke or Big Kid would in a single hit anyway.

I swear to god, if you ever shoot a Big Kid nuke, you're finished if you're anywhere where you can see the explosion.

I use the Fat Man as a sniper-type weapon anyway. With a blast radius that big, you can't exactly miss. Unless you get one of those moments in VATS where you completely miss the intended target (in my case, probably a deathclaw) and end up committing an act of nuclear terrorism against the people of Novac.

Used to have a mod for unlimited ammo in Fallout: New Vegas. The nuke launcher became my primary method of conflict resolution.

There are very few problems that cannot be solved by direct application of nuclear fire.

Also, I've decided to do one last New Vegas playthrough. Suggestions?

Eh. You honestly have to be annoyingly close for a nuke to fuck you up. I was playing around with the thing yesterday, and a timed nuke (which I'm assuming has the same yield as a regular nuke) going off ten feet away wasn't quite enough to kill me.

Not that squishy civilians have my kind of HP or DT, of course, or enough stims and RadAway to recover.

But hey, when it's the only way to be sure, "overkill" is not a valid term.

There's a couple of perks (at least in New Vegas) that let you eat corpses while stealthed. There's a Karma loss, and people apparently call it a "crime against nature" if they spot you, which presumably means that they immediately start trying to murder you.

I'll probably take it/them if and when I get around to doing a Legion playthrough.

I liked it too, before I realized it wasn't a Halo game.

It's decent enough if you don't look at it as Halo, though.

So I tried out Blacklight: Retribution again, just to see if it got any better from when I first played it. When I played it, it was riddled with bugs and almost completely P2W.
But now...

It's much better, actually. I haven't experienced a bug so far, and the P2W has been toned down a notch by reduced prices for permanent purchases.
So yay.

There are very few problems that cannot be solved by direct application of nuclear fire.

Thus Fallout: New Vegas 2: Reboot was born. The world was repairing itself until the Courier decided the world was too cruel and bathed it in a second wave of nuclear hell. Causing such things like the super-ultra-jesus-fucking-christ supersupersuper mutants to spawn.

Heh. It's funny because that is actual, honest-to-God, canonical backstory revealed in one of the DLCs.
