But come on. Zombie robot hitler.

Zombies backstory creeps me out for some reason, it's actually pretty good.

The entire zombies storyline was nothing short of fantastic. Until BO2. Everything post-Moon was dumb and I don't consider it part of the canon.

Honestly once you get to high enough stats you can ignore those and just rock whatever color you want.

But I agree, having customization tied to stat buffs was a decent step down from TFU1.

Speaking of Mass Effect...

I'm ready for another trilogy playthrough, but forgot how much the ME1 Femshep facecodes suck. One of the few facecodes that I've found that works for ME1+2 just does not carry over into 3, so I've been on Faces of Gaming for the past two hours looking for a suitable replacement. Damn you, Bioware.

Ah, yes. The facial constructor. The worst thing about the Mass Effect series that nobody seems to talk about. My strive for perfectionism has left me sitting in front of this tweaking bars back and forth for very literal hours. So . . . much . . . pain . . .

While there are definitely reasons to not approve of various expansion things (Ahem, EA milking out 10 expansions for The Sims 3), people DO seem to forget that video game companies ARE businesses, and businesses want to, you know, make money.

And honestly a lot of them that have expansions ARE probably trying to keep afloat with them. Not all of them by any means, but a lot of them.

Like Monolith Productions right now after having a bit of a slump is definitely appreciating the income from Shadow of Mordor, and its little expansions right now. Because they hadn't had any good money making thing out in a while now.

It really does depend on the case, though. Like I don't really approve of micro transactions in a $60 video game you already bought, that is freaking UBISOFT of all companies (Assassin's Creed: Unity). Sure, you don't HAVE to buy it, but that just sounds like they're trying to milk out the cash as much as possible. Especially with apparently how much you can freaking spend, which was like $100 at a time.

Fireaxis isn't a small-name developer. 2K Games is not a small name publisher. Neither Fireaxis nor 2K are having financial issues.

So why, then, does Fireaxis continue to milk its fanbase for every cent?

II wouldn't have a problem with devs selling you content after release.

I DO have a problem with devs removing content from release just so they could sell it back to you later. That's what Civ V is; cut-out content they're selling for $25 extra each.

I wasn't exactly saying I supported them. Hell, I didn't even mention them. I didn't know enough about the case to say anything on them in particular. I was just more making a general statement in reference to what Rob Halfordia said.

Yeah, that's a problem. Though half the time I wonder how much it actually is them "Removing content from release" or people just throwing that crap out without any real way for me to take it seriously. But in this case, I believe it is probably true.
