Come all Ye fans and haters alike, let us have an intelligent discussion on the afore mentioned subjects.

naruto mostly no, bleach and shaman king mostly mabye.
inoyashi and that blind swordsman thing i forget the name of, more interesting to me.

and a number of other things, the dam of childrens tears
and even, heavinly ancestors help us, that pirate guy with the straw hat and rubbery arms.
(but mostly his assortment of companions)

well no hijack intended, and i suppose there are other anime threads.

but even .hack/ and legends of the dragon lords.

naruto is just so NOT my idea of what kitsuni are all about.
and its really such a damd shame considering the potential of what that could be.

bleach has its moments,
and setting aside the butchery of what the idea of shaman is all about,
that one had some good moments/effects too.
for someone who grew up with the spirits of the land,
even without the formal training about them,
that takes a LOT of setting aside.

I have not and will not watch Naruto, I have not seen Shaman king. However, I have been watching Bleach for two-three years now I think. I am up to Ep. 170 or 80 something and it is my 4th favorite.

In regards to other animes I watch my favorites have been Inuyasha (1st) (seen all, read all), Code Geass (2nd) (seen all) and Death Note (3rd) (seen all, read all). I have watched dozens of other animes over the years but those are my favorites.

Now what is the purpose of this thread again?

I'm not a fan of Naruto, and don't plan on watching Shaman King. You could say I'm a fan of Bleach, though. Still, none of the aforementioned can begin to measure up to the mystery/thriller powers of Death Note and Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni

I started buying the Naurto manga before the anime came to the US, which totally ruined Naruto for me.

I've actually only read a few chapters/watched a few episodes of Bleach, then stopped because of SATs.

And for Shaman King, that was a pretty good anime. But for some reason, I'm currently more interested in going to the source material for anime (i.e., Death Note manga, Haruhi Suzumiya/NHK ni Yokoso novels )

I enjoyed the Shaman King anime, though it diverges quite wildly from the manga. Though the anime vs manga did have the issue in that the manga was canceled before the ending could be done. It's only recently that the manga got an ending, though the entire thing gets pretty nuts in the new chapters. But at least it does conclude the story (while leaving room open for a sequel)

Never could really get into Bleach or Naruto, but then I seem to rarely be able to get into a series that goes more than about 100 episodes. Most of my favorites are in the 26-52 episode range.

I liked Naruto for a while but then they started excluding more and more action from the show to the point where they spent the whole show thinking about there next move!That ruined it and for shamin king that was a realy good anime!I never read any of the mangas though.

I don't watch anime, but I read the manga. Bleach is a meh with a predictable storyline, though it has some great art. Naruto is utter rubbish, and Shaman King is alright all around.

I used to hate Bleach, but now I read it so much that I almost only read Naruto because it was the first anime/manga I got into and I want to see it through. I still hate the Bleach anime. The Naruto anime has absolutely gone down hill. As for Shaman King, I never really bothered to get into it too much.

I'd say no; to my understanding it's a long series, and you can't easily just walk into the middle of it. That's why I haven't tried to get into it or Naruto- too damn much material to catch up on!

I recently started watching Naruto Shippuden, and caught up with the entire series in about two weeks of on and off watching, and this was without skipping the filler arcs (not worth the time).

Okay how many of you are Bleach fans? I myself am a fan of the anime and manga. Only the add ons they do for the anime bother me. Like that Bount (might be spelled wrong) season, ahhh I hated that one.

Like Naruto ok, but it's dragging on too long, and is too Sasuke-centric. I didn't used to have a problem with him, but I'm really sick of his current role in shippuden. And the english dub is terrible. Not so much for the voice acting, which lets face it, most english anime voice acting isn't as good as the japanese, but the fact that people get stabbed and there's no blood! I hate Disney!

Bleach I like ok, never watched the english version of it. There needs to be less filler in the anime, even though I really liked the Zanpaktou rebellion arc.

Never watched shamen king, but read one book of the manga, and liked it ok.

Hate them all. Well, Bleach is somewhat tolerable when it's coherent and gets to the point.

More of a fan of stuff like Gundam Wing, Samurai Champloo, Trigun, and Fooly Cooly (Furi Kuri).

Nartuto is my favrite anime ever. Love Kismatos drawing style, and semi-belvible chacters, nbaruto and kaskshi are my favrites, Naruto has gone from little goofball to an adult with some surprising turns on the way. His fall into near darkeness, then him deciding not to use the NIne tails so much, to now one of the storngest ninja every. Kaskshi is very head strong and relsent.

There is nothing intelligent about Naruto, Bleach or Shaman King

Mind you, as I'm involved in the thread, this is not being said as a moderator, but rather as a player who knows the rules very well:

If all you're here to do is try and troll/flamebait people who do like these series, I very strongly urge you to exit the thread and find or start a thread on a series that you like, rather than chance getting a warning from the moderators for trolling or flamebaiting over series you clearly don't.

any filler arc sucks, honestly they are only there so that the animators have time to dub all of the episodes... which brings up one question. Why produce fillers when it takes the same amount of time to dub the actual series?

Fillers have nothing to do with dubbing- they tend to result when the anime overtakes the manga and the animation team has to make new material up to fill in the gap. Once the manga has enough new material available, then they can stop with the filler and get back to the plot.
