This looks potentially interesting

At least for the book, this is the description: "The story is told from the perspective of a five-year-old boy, Jack, who is being held captive in a small room along with his mother.[1] Donoghue conceived the story after hearing about five-year-old Felix in the Fritzl case."

Watching the original TV series of The Wild Wild West from the sixties. Watched it a little when I was about 7 in the sixties, but rather enjoying it again. It really is very proto-steampunk.

How on earth did I miss the Frozen version of an Australian PSA "Ice Destroys Lives"? :p

Note: Frozen is rated PG in the UK.

Anyone watching Limitless on CBS?

The premiere was last night. Yes, it's based on the 2011 Bradley Cooper thriller about a new drug that makes you a genius. Cooper even makes a brief cameo in the pilot. I was ecstatic when this show was announced, because I was desperate to know more at the end of the movie, but I'm a little concerned that the show seems to be angling towards the overdone police drama themes. There are so many more interesting directions they could take it with minds of infinite potential...

Yes, it was PG in the US too (I'm American). I don't know about the rest of the world either, though... I didn't even know it had the same rating in the UK till today.

I'm in agreement with you. It's still promising at this point, but is in danger of becoming a typical CBS procedural. For now I'd have to say I was expecting more, but still liked it enough to watch episode 2.

I'm not sure what kind of critical reception the 2-hour special premiere is getting, but I really enjoyed it. Seems like Reborn is going to be better than anything Heroes did post-Season 1. Good balance of old characters/plotlines and new ones.

Shows? idk

Movies? North Sea Texas is essential, one of my all-time favorites. I'd also recommend Summer Storm, but more hesitantly. (Don't watch the trailer, btw - it makes it look like a cheesy romcom when it's actually sad as fuck.)

TMNT 2003. I only watched a few episodes when I was younger, but now since I'm more into TMNT, I've been watching some more of it. It's pretty good so far, and one day I'd like to watch turtles forever.

I never got the criticism of post-Season 1 Heroes... everyone else says it declined in quality, but somehow I didn't notice that.
