That is a sad movie, but I didn't cry for whatever reason. Still, excellent film. Whatever happened to Anna-Sophia Robb? Haven't seen her in anything lately... sad, because there for a while I thought her career was really gonna go places.

She's still doing things, but I don't think she's done anything I care about in ages. She's got 2 projects lined up for 2016 apparently.

Apparently she hasn't done anything I care about in ages, either... last thing I saw her in was Bridge To Terabithia.

Films make me cry all the time for some reason.

To be honest, I've maybe cried in one film. Well, two, but I only cried in Casino Royale because James Bond spilled a glass of scotch.

I do have a tendency to feel sad or very excited during movies, and even the movies I find hilarious are ones where I don't laugh out loud. I love humor and horror in my movies, but I don't cry or laugh at loud. I just keep it inside unintentionally, I guess. Everyone has a friend who doesn't laugh much at a comedy, but claims that "it's funny as hell." I'm that guy.

Pretty much me, though I'm also that guy who thinks most "comedy" is actually stupidly unfunny and isn't at all hilarious, so sometimes my not laughing is genuine...

I rarely laugh out loud at films, mainly because I watch most films on my own, and I suppose it is kind of a social thing to laugh together with other people. I tend to laugh more when I am with friends watching a film, though that also usually involves alcohol. A film that does make me laugh out loud a couple of times I count as a really good film.

May I recommend everyone Stalingrad a war movie from the German perspective on the battle of Stalingrad. Its chillingly accurate how they can get even the smallest details correct.

Does anyone remember "The Silence of the Lambs"?

So if youre interested in an epic piece of movie memorabilia that also represents a possibly cool equity investment, just put your application in the bucket along with the lotion.

The new Fear of the Walking dead apparently did really well....Yay, so apparently dragging on a concept forever still does really well nowadays...Just what we need, more spin offs forever...

As long as the spinoffs are actually decent then i dont mind, and so far fear the walking dead is decent.

Yeah, my mom said it was good. I think I just don't like spinoffs because it feels like they're just trying to drag it on for more profits. But I think that's partially because I see the bajillion cop show spinoffs :P

Well cop show spinoffs tend to be just outright terrible.

I'm pretty sure that one of the major cop shows actually FINALLY got canceled recently...

I know there's the "Oh, just don't watch it", but I SERIOUSLY get sick of seeing a new cop show ALL THE GOD DAMN FREAKING TIME. It's ridiculous that I think it's fine to complain about the lack of new ideas when it's just "Hurr durr cop shows"

Cop shows are pretty overdone, so are Zombies but the Walking Dead is one of the few things that keeps me interested in it anymore, they just do it really well imo, even small details like how different the zombies look like now in the current stage of the main show having decayed for so long. As well as keeping it fresh with human enemies who are actually entertaining like the Governor and these "Wolves" (from what i remember is the name) who seem to be a main antagonist in the next season.

Hopefully Fear the Walking dead has some good human enemies as it down the line, also a bonus for Fear the Walking Dead imo is that it is not rushing things, we know everything is going to go hell anyway so i like that it is taking its time and slowly building it up, only seeing the occasional glimpse of the apocalypse as you watch these people go about their lives.

Only issue ive had with the show is that some of the acting was a bit eh but for the most part it was decent, hope it stays that way and improves.

Speaking of WWII movies, I like Saving Private Ryan. One of Spielberg's best movies, in my opinion, and its portrayal of combat is chillingly realistic (although some artistic licenses were inevitably taken for the sake of drama).

Yeah its a pretty solid movie, its one of my favourite ww2 movies alongside Fury, Longest Day, The Great Escape, letters from Iwo Jima, and Downfall which is probably ny favourite world war 2 movie and second favourite war movie of all time behind Brotherhood of War.

Watched the finale of Falling Skies, decent episode overall but
the ending was quite anticlimactic with how quickly the Queen was killed and then, everything kind of just ended.

Edit: Uh, warning for graphic trailer?

Its decent, CGI is a bit shit looking sometimes but they dont have as much of a budget as other shows did.

I lost interest in that show a long time ago... not surprised to hear people had problems with the ending. I had problems way back in Season 1.
