Season 1 is amazing, it's a great mixture of crime thriller, family drama, and existentialist horror story. Season 2 is kind of a mess, but I liked the third episode. Haven't seen the very latest one yet.

I feel like there are too many main characters: Velcoro, Bezzerides, Woodrugh and Frank too name just the four main ones, and I don't really know who the story is supposed to be about. I've seen 3 episodes, I understand the plot, but mainly it's just a slighty colour-bleached blur of smouldering looks, physical violence and people spouting quasi-philosophical rubbish. Perhaps watching more episodes will reveal more and make it more coherent. I also found it tough to adjust to Vince Vaughan playing a serious character, considering his history as a comedic actor (at least, AFAIK).
On another note, I know it's old (finished 5 years ago), but I've just finished watching LOST yesterday, and I thought the whole series was excellent, and the ending, after some initial sceptiscism, I thought was fantastic. What are other people's thoughts on the show as a whole, and particularly the last episode/ending, if you can remember it, as I know the ending divides opinion somewhat.

There was In The Name of the Father about the Guildford Four with Daniel Day-Lewis and Pete Postlethwaite, which is a marvellous film.

Is that the same Humans that was made by Channel 4 in the UK? If it is I enjoyed it.

I would assume so since nearly everyone on the show's got a British accent, but being American I have no idea if it was a Channel 4 show in the UK or not. It's got Gemma Chan as the main robot, Colin Morgan as a main character I can't really explain without spoilers, and very famous American actor William Hurt as an elderly recluse who doesn't want to upgrade a robot he's grown attached to (Will Tudor).

That's the one. I enjoyed it a lot. It is a remake of a Scandinavian series which I must try and hunt down.
