Pretty hit or miss, to be honest. Some parts are superb, and I actually think season 4 was one of the best, but there is a lot of hit and miss stuff as well..Though season 2 was definitely the worst.

It's pretty overrated imo. Stopped after season 2.

Better Call Saul has shaped up to be rather good imo. And this past season of Vikings was pretty beast.

Just started Daredevil.

Wow. I was seriously not expecting this level of quality. It's so great how human they make Murdock; everything he does is that much more impressive and, well, heroic because of it.

I guess most things Netflix touches is oddly good.

It's good. But i really need to know SOMETHING about the plot of the movie, and we don't get that from the teaser.

Right, because Frozen is much more realistic

Frozen takes place in 1800s Europe. Star Wars takes place a long time ago in a galaxy far away when in reality humans did not have such technology.

My review of Daredevil, originally posted on my Facebook page. I kept it reasonably spoiler-free, but I'll hide it all the same.

With Daredevil, Marvel has achieved something truly remarkable, and, I believe, unprecedented within the superhero genre on television. Previous films and shows within what has come to be unimaginatively known as the Marvel Cinematic Universe tended to involve the highest, most world-shattering stakes, with obvious (if occasionally sympathetic) villains vying for control of the world, or at least world-spanning organizations and companies. These are large films in both scope and scale, with larger-than-life impossible people doing larger-than-life impossible things.
Daredevil is claustrophobic by comparison, with the majority of action taking place in warehouses, offices, and hallways, with the stakes at hand often being little more than a single person's life, or even the simple continued right of people to stay in their homes in the face of overwhelming pressure from a company trying to buy them out in order to begin a redevelopment project. However, the stakes SEEM enormous, and when our heroes are forced to deal with an unexpected death in episode 9, it feels as if not just one life has been lost, but an entire world (and it only gets worse from there). This is the most human of the shows regarding superhumans, the fantasy that feels real. One can almost feel the pain when fist smacks into flesh, can almost smell the blood when a young Matt tends to his pugilist father's wounds.
The show also plays with cliches, tropes, and idioms, subverting expectations in ways that serve to draw the viewer further in to the story. The major villain is introduced not in the midst of a crime, or in any other way to illustrate his capacity for evil, but rather in a scene that shows his crushing loneliness and vulnerability, and the relationship that begins to form there is one that you may find yourself rooting for even as he sinks into total depravity, as it is the one thing that seems to continue to connect him to his own humanity, allowing us to still feel some sympathy. Personally, I've often had problems relating to the desire for power as a motivation, but I will always relate to those who do great or horrifying things in the name of love.
If I were to compare the show to anything, it wouldn't be the Frank Miller issues of the comic that served as inspiration, since the creators here have managed a depth and complexity of character that Miller seems to struggle with when he bothers to try it at all. Instead, I'd compare it to Kurt Busiek's Astro City, where the best stories are often the smallest ones, showing what life is like on the ground for normal citizens caught up in the insanity of a world in which literal gods do battle in the skies over New York, and how they manage to adapt, change, and eke out their own heroic victories that are as important to them as the saving of an entire planet would be to one of the Avengers.
This is a moody, dark, violent, and yet somehow deeply thoughtful series with regular flashes of excellent, wicked humor, and with performances that equal or surpass anything that we've seen on the big screen from Marvel. It's a show that could only be told on the smaller screen, with hours in which to linger over seemingly small details, to explore the various histories and backgrounds of the major players in the series, and to watch in horrified fascination as things spin out of control in a manner that is as fascinating as it is inevitable.
This is about as much of a "must-see" as you'll find out there.
