I'll probably be buying season 4 (for 50% off) then going through that season with my mom before too long. Because yes, how I see the show is buying the show on DVD :P. And my dad works for a company owned by Warner Brothers which owns HBO apparently, so we get deals on Game of Thrones. Kinda nice.

Normally a season is $50, but for me it is $25. Kinda nice.

Though I even got the first season for $40, despite getting it before my dad had these benefits/the job. And I think season 3 was on sale on Amazon for like $30 really quick

Well, technically you don't HAVE to watch it, but yeah.

Yeah, but I'd like to see it since I saw the other movies as well.

The only part of that show I really care about is that Robert Carlyle is in it. Acting didn't seem very good when I watched it before.

He seems like the best actor in the show. Which isn't surprising.

Good God! That was a long time ago. Woulda been before Star Wars, but I'd have to really think about what it might have been...

I'm a complete pleb who hasn't seen Breaking Bad yet since we lack the one service (Foxtel, an expensive pay TV provider) on which it is distributed on and I don't want to buy the box-set. A SVOD service is launching here in Australia soon that'll let me view it (along with Better Call Saul) and I wanted to know, according to my trusted NS chums, is it really as good as everyone says it is? Is it worth watching?

Oh, and while I'm here:

It was either the first Toy Story movie, or the first Shrek movie, I can't remember which.

I haven't seen Breaking Bad yet, either, but my mom loved it, the show is like my Grandpa's favorite TV show, and so on. Though I don't think it is always amazing.

Breaking Bad was great, but it's not the best show ever. Dexter, LOST, 24, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, and The Walking Dead are all shows I like more.

Anyways, what are everyone's Favorite Movie of 2014? I don't keep track of movies nearly as much as I do with music, but I was surprised by how many I saw this year in retrospect. My favorite was definitely Interstellar, followed by Guardians of the Galaxy, The Giver, and The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies. Worst? God's Not Dead.

I like The Walking Dead but it was so inconsistently not that great (Season 2 was meh, and Shane was just...annoying, and not in a good way) that I can't rate it a favorite show, to be honest.

I actually think season 4 was my favorite season. Helps that all my least favorite characters are dead...And the ones that were, again, annoying not in a good way

I've seen like...one movie of 2014, which was kinda meh. I wanted to see Interstellar, though :(. I'll get The Battle of Five Armies for free when it comes out from my dads work.

The Giver, though the book was definitely better, was great.
