That could work. A Great Schism would be an interesting development, and how and why the world ends would be a logical point of contention for the conflicting groups.

A god called "MLG" (Mega Large Gabe) creates teh first Klan, seeing that all of their ancient pros are now dead and have been replaced by total noobs he decides to kill all of their children and kicked them out of the Klan. Remember everyone making gods: The are where this religion originates is not completely figured out. At this point it's a toss up between Europe and Polynesia. Certain animals would make sense, certain animals won't. For example, a European religion wouldn't have zebras in its symbolism, because Europeans wouldn't know about zebras when the religion would have become codified.

We need to start making a divine family tree. I think that there should be a small number (somewhere between 2 and 9) of original gods who split off from the shattered god that formed from the formless chaos, who then interbred and gave birth to the other gods. These original gods wouldn't necessarily be the gods who are the main focus of the religion though.

The first gods to form should be the "force" gods- life, death, the wind, disease... The more "concept" based beings. Maybe each of them could rule a dimension... earth, sea, various hells, etc.

Beging story.

In the beginning there was #### God of the void. He was and is everything and nothing. He sleeps for all eternity. Once though in his sleep his eye opened and a bright flash of light and heat and matter spread out. IN time the universe of now formed. #### started to wake, or more his sub concise started to fight. In that the gods of earth where formed.
