Which Anime are you watching or have watched recently III?

What are these animes about (without spoilers, of course).

I haven't heard of the first one. But Jetan's recommendation is like the Japanese version of The Final Countdown. A JMSDF destroyer that goes back in time in the middle of the Pacific War.

Hmmm, that seems intersting. Depending on whatever Symphoger is, I may watch Jetan's suggestion.

It's also fairly divided politically (or at least the characters) and it doesn't whitewash the fact the Japanese Empire was zealous...like Konpeki no Kantai, which is practically an alternate history wank.

Symphogear: Take idol singers, toss in some Sengoku Basara levels of kickassery, a fucking awesome soundtrack and some decent Yuri overtones, and boom. Symphogear.

Fate/ series (Avoid the old anime, watch Fate/stay night unlimited blade works 2014 first, then watch the upcoming Heavens Feel movie-though I'd recommend reading the VN first, at least the Fate route, before anything else, then finally watch Fate/Zero and optionally read Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. Or wait for it's anime adaptation. That is the recommended order, though you can watch Zero first -it is finished, so you might feel like watching it first. Most would recommend other wise, though)
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (Brotherhood, not the original, the latter isn't bad but it isn't as good)
Kara no Kyoukai: The Garden of Sinners (Do note It's a bit of a heavy show and not for everyone. There are several movies, watch them in order of release, not chronological order.)

Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen (I'd recommend doing it like this; watch S1 and S2 of the original anime, then watch Tsuiokuhen, forget the third season and pick up the manga where S2 ends, and optionally watch Seishonen, though keep in mind the mangaka considers it not canon. Though it should be noted while the original series is mostly good, it doesn't compare to Tsuiokuhen.)
