Started re-watching K-On! to kill time on my commute, and by god...I forgot how beautifully cute all of it was, and how wonderful it was to watch their relationships develop. Reminds me why I have K-On! up as a 10/10.

Favorite: The Lost Village
Least Favorite: The Lost Village

That show is the Schrodinger's Cat of anime. I fucking hate it and love it at the same time. It's not even a situation where "it's so bad it's good", it is just really awful. But something about it is enticing, like the sort of morbid fascination you might have with a car accident or something.

Serious answer? IDK yet. My real favorite is probably RE:Zero, least favorite probably Joker Game. And even Joker Game I liked. I more-or-less liked everything I watched this season.

Flying witch was a nice change of pace for me, I really enjoyed the relaxed nature of the whole thing.
Sansha sanyou is also enjoyable for slightly different reasons. I gotta get by Slice of life fix.
Der Film with Girls und panzer was pretty sweet, fun to watch and excellent battle sequences.

I saw one or two episodes of Kiznaiver but I decided it wasn't for me cos the characters seemed a bit extreme. But it had a good pace I suppose.

I generally stay away from anime I know i'm not going to enjoy, although I do spoil the surprise for myself at times as a result.

Still have a few on my to do list though.

Luluco and Der Film were fantastic. I sort of forgot to keep up with Train Track on Titan, and Kiznaiver wasn't what I wanted. Trigger, so far, seems to do well with either adorable (LWA) or wacky, wavy, inflatable arm tube-man (Inferno Cop and Kill la Kill), Luluco had both of those elements, Kiznaiver had neither (would that be Kiz-neither?).

Started Flying Witch, it's rather quaint. I feel bad for the friend who gets wasted, and wakes up a furry.

I didn't watch most of the big ones this season, alas. I only kept up with Kabaneri, Luluco, Haifuri, and--for a while--Kiznaiver. Of those, I think I enjoyed Luluco the best. It was just the perfect dose of zany Trigger madness, and something I looked forward to regularly.

Kabaneri probably wins for 'greatest downgrade'. At the beginning, I was truly excited for each episode. Yeah, there were issues with the characters and their actions, but it was just so fucking cool. By the time they introduce the main 'villain' for lack of a better word, the show'd really gone off the rails. Visuals are still great, but that's about all the show has for it now IMO.

Haifuri was a perfectly serviceable show. Like a slightly lesser Girls und Panzer I think. It started off really interesting, but--by the end--it had settled well enough into a role as yet another member of the 'cute girls doing war things' sub-genre, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

Kiznaiver I...just kind of stopped. I enjoyed the episodes I did watch, and remain mildly curious about where the hell they're going with all this, but I don't feel the same degree of "FUCK YEAH HYPE" that I had with KIll la Kill, or even Luluco in a way. I'll probably finish it eventually once I finish my K-On! rewatch.

Shows I intend to watch later include: Re:Zero, The Lost Village, Joker Game, Flying Witch, and Sansha Sanyou.

Kabaneri was a disappointment. It started out really nice, but is now mired in gimmicks, dull-ass power-ups, and
villains who share names with the PM of Israel
which leaves the whole thing really second-rate. Nice ass animation can't carry it.

I liked Mayoiga a lot. Spent most of it screaming at the screen about busses and getting off and on them, but it left me relatively confused for the majority of the time and kept up its particular bizarre and petty vibe right to the end. I saw lots of people complaining about the long arguments over completely pointless things. But I think that people are really like that, and in terms of human nature Mayoiga hit the spot.

Joker Game isn't over yet, but I was disappointed. Honestly, I wanted more than twelve individual episodes about a bunch of smart people I couldn't distinguish. Conceptually neat and very fun to watch, but at the end of the day it's kinda dull when D-Agency is always way too smart and wins. Plus you never really bond with anyone. Except for the guy who went to Manchuria to chill with his waifu. That was kinda nice. Also the British spy with the Belgian wife, and the spy on the ship who
adopted the kid
kinda made it. Joker Game was at its best when it was at its most human. The rest was interesting to watch, but kinda meh.

HaiFuri was a solid meh, except for the bit with the stuffed shark and the earlier episodes where nobody had any fucking clue what was up and shit was going completely insane. That was good. Once the lame-ass explanation came out, it was really second-rate and without the charm of GuP.

Yeah the only show I genuinely looked forward to the whole time had to be Mayoiga.

That would either be the GuP series or Der Film, I can't quite make up my mind.

Least favourite would be The Pilot's Love Song. After watching The Princess and the Pilot, I was expecting quite a fair bit from TPLS. However the show never quite clicked for me and it's a tad disappointing really.

King of the Hill was excellent. Amazingly composed introductory theme, great animation, and a thick storyline with plot twists and intrigue.

Ah, right I think where I watched Unicorn they didn't show the opening.

That's because the OVA series (Unicorn) didn't have an opening, it had endings (Which were all great) but no intro (Which is odd for Gundam).

However, the TV edit (Unicorn re:0096) does have an intro, which is the song I posted.
