So far, only a few other series have been added: the Fate series, Upotte, Sabagebu, Stella's C3 Class, Ghost in the Shell Arise the movie and Girls and Panzer movie + OVA, so all in all not an enormous list in a decade.

OK, took me a while and I remember some things, but here's my list. It doesn't include some movies

Aoi Yori Aoshi
Azumanga Daioh
Battle Programer Shirase *OP sounds like female Japanese Rickroll, therefore it's unique
Bakumatsu Gijinden Roman
The Big O *Oh wow, nostalgic childhood memories of the 90s Batman
Baccano!
Black Lagoon + Roberta's spinoff
Blue Submarine No.6
Boogiepop Phantom
A Certain Magical...whatever, Index or Railgun? I'm not sure.
Clannad
Coppelion
Cromartie High School
Dai Shogun
Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge
Darker than Black
Denno Coil *Hard Sci-Fi
Detroit Metal City
Dokuro-Chan
Eiken
Excel Saga
Fantastic Children
Fate/Stay Night, the first TV version
FCLC
FMA, the TV and the Brotherhood series+ the Shamballa movie
GATE, both seasons
part of Girls und Panzer
Ghost Talker's Daydream *Unique plot...psychic medium dominatrix and salaryman pencil-pusher team up to fight evil
Gunbusters
Gunslinger Girl + Teatrino
Gurren Lagan
Haibane Renmei
Haruhi Suzumiya + a film+ the Yuki Nagato spinoff
He is my Master
Hellsing TV version and the OVA
Highschool of the Dead
Human Crossing
InuYasha, and a film
Kannagi
Kemono Souja no Erin
Kill Me Baby
KissxSis
KLK
Koi Kaze
Kuuchuu Buranko *Psychadelic stuff
Last Exile
Love Hina
Lucky Star
Macross + Macross 7 + Macross Fronteir + Robotech
Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi
Majokko Tsukune-chan
Master of Marital Hearts
Mokke
Mouse
Muteki Kanban Musume
Mysterious Girlfriend X
Nadia: Secret of Blue Water
Najica Blitz Tactics
Naruto, dropped it tl;dr
Now and Then, Here and There
Neon Genesis Evangelion + and EOE, and most of the Rebuild films
NieA_7 *Sociology and Immigration 101 in anime form
One Peice, dropped it tl;dr
Oreimo
Okusama ga Seitokaichou
Okusama wa Joshikousei
Oreshura *There's some crazy bitch whose name is almost "Pazuzu" in there.
Paranoia Agent
Patlabor *the foreigner is the most Japanese-looking person in that series
Pumpkin Scissors
Ray the Animation
R.O.D. the TV
Rumiko Takahashi Anthology
Saikano
Sankarea *World's Creepiest Dad is here
Serial Experiments Lain
School Days
Shangri La
Shikabane Hime
Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru
Speed Grapher *Duran Duran did the OP
Spice and Wolf *I learned more about classical economics there than in an elective class from High School
part of Strike Witches
Super Milk-chan!
part of Texhnolyze
Tatami Galaxy
Twin Spica *Hard-Sci Fi
part of Uppote
Zero no Tsukaima
...
Some Ghibli films and ALL of Satoshi Kon's, A Chinese Ghost Story (Japanese-drawn), A Tree of Palme, etc.

The red things are things I positively regret having watched, and green things are series I loved for whatever arbitrary reason or another. As you can tell, though I don't dislike the mecha genre, I also don't seem to care for it too much so even some classics are missing.

That my friend is an awesome list, to which my list pales in comparison. Imma keep this one, as my to watch list is running dangerously thin. I'm not sure whther I'll watch everything in here, but I'll sure as hell check it out. Thanks!

Managed to watch The Princess and the Pilot. It's a pretty good show, with just the right amount of action and suspense interspersed with the romance between the two main characters. I'll probably move on to The Pilot's Love Song soon.

I saw it as well. I wrote a small comment about it somewhere earlier on this thread, where I gave it an 8 out of 10. I can't find that comment anymore, but quoting myself in that piece: ,, The artwork is beautiful and quite original. Technology wise it reminded me of Senjou no Valkyria, but the series are unrelated. What's more, the Princess in those series both bore a strong pysical resmblance to one another, ostentatious dress and wig included. We've got airplanes, an extremely gaudy version of the Yamato and even a flying island, called Isla, complete with its forests and a small town. The bad guys look for all the world like WW 2 era German paratroopers armed with MP-4Os, whilst flying poorly disguised BF-109s and JU-87 Stukas." Go and watch it. It's okay, although the artwork in the original movie was even more impressive. (An enormous waterfall in the middle of the ocean!)

Managed to watch the entire series of The Pilot's Love Song and I must say, I found myself feeling rather conflicted about the whole thing. The show starts off fairly light-hearted at first, but then the idyll atmosphere is suddenly and rudely interrupted by the horrors of war. And I felt that the series did a fantastic job in portraying this, as well as the various themes of hatred, fear and loss. I certainly did not expect
many of the side-characters to be killed off so soon in Episodes 7 & 8; especially Mitsuo and the majority of the trainee pilots.

Ah, les braves gens!

The romance plot (or should I say, plots) was quite interesting and thankfully the series took its time to develop the love interests between the different characters gradually. Interestingly, I certainly did not expect the love triangle between the three main characters of the series.

On the other hand, the plot and pacing of The Pilot's Love Song felt rather confusing at times. I never quite understood how they managed to construct a floating island and then send it hurtling towards their intended final destination. Certainly there's little to no mention either of why the primary antagonists in the form of the Sky Clan are perpetually throwing a hissy fit or resorting to war, and while it's nice to see a return of the Levamme Empire (for those who are already familiar with The Princess and the Pilot), the Amatsukami Imperium seems to have completely been omitted. I dunno, I felt it would've been nice if they made an appearance in the series too, perhaps as allies of the Sky folk or whatever you call them.

All in all, it's a good series but for some reason, I can't bring myself to say it's one of the best shows out there. Still, I'd recommend it to all those interested.

Oh, certainly, they've really put their backs into it this time and gone all out.

It's kind of a drag when you want to see robots beat up other robots and you suddenly have to sit through one of her pity parties. I also don't watch Gundam to be taught any moralistically virtuous values by a chick that doesn't pilot a huge mobile suit.

Good to know. Thanks.

I'm in the part where I realize death is cheap in that realm. Episode 7 or 8.

I'm currently reading the NGE manga and I really like it. How different is it compared to the anime? Why is the anime better, I usually hear of the mangas being better. I'm not that far, so no spoilers, please.

Eh, it's mainly small differences until the latter half and E.O.E. I myself preferred the manga.

I wasn't that impressed with the anime, actually. It took itself way too seriously. I liked a few of the characters, but Shinji ruined it for me.

How the fuck did San get beaten? The salt is strong in me. I better lighten up on junk food.

Morgiana vs Major Kusanagi, I'm fine with either one.

Aaaaaaand then she lost to a fuck loli. There is no justice anymore.

A fucking loli beat Sasha Blouse, what the fuck.

They put Nagisa against her own kid, that's just cruel.

Miia got shafted by some normie, lol.

Will we see Ryuuko versus Satsuki? Probably! I can taste the hormones already.

Mikasa beat Whory, kek.

Nurse Joy lost to literally who?

Faye lost to a fucking idol or whatever. What has anime come to these days.

Not surprised Haruhi beat Haru.

What's criminal is there is no Miho Nishizumi on there. Or best girls from the Finnish school.
