So it's a magical girl anime about fighting Nazis?

Looks the case. No idea how they're going to pull this off.

Well, I finally got around to watching Darker than Black and man... I wasn't disappointed. It was on my watchlist like forever, second half of 2014 or so.
What can I say? Awesome.... A deep, intricate story which is simply too elaborate to explain in a few lines. Suffice it to say that it revolves around different factions who all battle for surpremacy against each other and they all use contract killers with supernatural abilities in the process. Go and watch it, as it is easily the one of the best series I have seen this year. Artwork is somewhat meh, as I've seen better, but that doesn't take away the quality of the story. 8.5 out of 10. No 9 out of 10 though. Half a point penalty due to the artwork.

Finally, I have found a compatriot who appreciated this as much as I did.
All that aside, for me the fact that the art was kind of. . . flat didn't actually hurt the story so much as mean you had to rely more on soundtrack and tone-of-voice cues, which I enjoyed. Not claiming that was a conscious choice on the part of the animators by any means, though. :p
November 11 remains the only character I've ever cosplayed at a con.

Bakumatsu Gijinden Roman
The Big O *Oh wow, nostalgic childhood memories of the 90s Batman

Blue Submarine No.6
Boogiepop Phantom
A Certain Magical...whatever, Index or Railgun? I'm not sure.
Clannad
Coppelion
Cromartie High School
Dai Shogun
Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge
Darker than Black
Denno Coil *Hard Sci-Fi
Detroit Metal City
Dokuro-Chan
Eiken
Excel Saga
Fantastic Children
Fate/Stay Night, the first TV version
FCLC
FMA, the TV and the Brotherhood series+ the Shamballa movie
GATE, both seasons
part of Girls und Panzer
Ghost Talker's Daydream *Unique plot...psychic medium dominatrix and salaryman pencil-pusher team up to fight evil
Gunbusters
Gunslinger Girl + Teatrino
Gurren Lagan
Haibane Renmei
Haruhi Suzumiya + a film+ the Yuki Nagato spinoff

Hellsing TV version and the OVA
Highschool of the Dead
