Go and watch it, as it is easily the one of the best series I have seen this year. Artwork is somewhat meh, as I've seen better, but that doesn't take away the quality of the story. 8.5 out of 10. No 9 out of 10 though. Half a point penalty due to the artwork.

Finally, I have found a compatriot who appreciated this as much as I did.
All that aside, for me the fact that the art was kind of. . . flat didn't actually hurt the story so much as mean you had to rely more on soundtrack and tone-of-voice cues, which I enjoyed. Not claiming that was a conscious choice on the part of the animators by any means, though.
November 11 remains the only character I've ever cosplayed at a con.

Glad you appreciateded it as well. I was surprised it got so little love on this thread, the same for Kara no Kyoukai. November's impeccable white suit...

OK, took me a while and I remember some things, but here's my list. It doesn't include some movies
The red things are things I positively regret having watched, and green things are series I loved for whatever arbitrary reason or another. As you can tell, though I don't dislike the mecha genre, I also don't seem to care for it too much so even some classics are missing.

I've cut meaner onions than that overrated melodramatic trite, it just didn't get to me for being really cheesy.
