I would recommend trying the other mediums for Lovecraftian inspired things. Persona 2 felt inspired by Lovecraft a decent amount, Mushishi is apparently Lovecraftian inspired, I just haven't seen it so I can't say personally. There is aforementioned Saya no Uta. Bloodborne also has some Lovecraftian beings that look a bit like Ctulhu. I've noticed there aren't many anime or manga based entirely on Lovecraft, they just tend to have Lovecraftian beings.
Mushishi is decent but it's hardly a horror series on it's own, even if there is some creepy parasitic body-horror/possession occasionally. I can't say anything about Persona without quipping Freud jokes. For Nuclear Fist, I really wouldn't recommend Haiyore because of the...story...and the malnourished androgyny. In my opinion, Saya no Uta is the best bet for a solid recommendation because it really is a horror with madness and death. And because the style isn't very bubbly or "kawaii", save for Saya's non-meatvision form.

Mushishi, I think, would better be described as soft horror. There's definitely scary stuff in there beyond the imagery, mostly in the ideas or centered around the theme of "I tried to do something to make myself happy and now I am alone". I remember episodes like "The Pillow Pathway", "Pickers of Empty Cocoons", and "Shrine in the Sea" unsettling me for a long time afterward. There is a sense that some kind of soft horror is intentional, because in the manga, Yuki Urushibara brings up repeatedly that the stories are intended as a call back to a lot of the Japanese folklore that has left the mainstream consciousness, mostly experiences from her grandparents and great-grandparents that they claimed were connected to the supernatural or were stories intended to scare kids to teach them a lesson.

OreGairu's second season is better in terms of character development already, and the animation it self is better, but the character designs and art actually suffered. The united states of Saints wrote:So may be a bit late but just realized Nisekoi season 2 was out so of course started watching that and already had some funny moments. Also watched The Seven Deadly Sins recently and can say that I really enjoyed it. It went past my expectations and actually made me enjoy it. Oh oh and the second season of My Teenage RomCom Snafu which so far has been confusing from where it ended in season 1 (may need to go back to check so I can remember everything). The art design in the second season seems better.

The mecha action is passable. Characters however, are all insufferable twats. Espepcially Chobi.
Also, the OP will get in your head.

Considering that is coming from you, Ameri, I must take it with a bit of salt. Anyway, once I finish off Cowboy Bebop I'll start my watch through it. Now that I mentioned Cowboy Bebop, someone told me last year that the plot picks up around episode 6. Bull. Shit. I'm on episode 16 and it's still episodic as fuck. It's great though, so I'm not complaining.
Also, that's a pretty good OP nigga
