11 minutes of songs in a 22 minute episode. So, it's half song. By far, the most musical episode.

Once in a while lots of episodes at least have a song. There are lots of a examples to name, such as the Canterlot Wedding episodes, Pinkie Pride, Rarity takes Manehattan, and Filli Vanilli. Not every episode has songs, but a lot of them do. Yes, they follow the disneyish pop sound, but MLP:FiM is, in the grand scheme, a musical show.

Which brings us to EQG. Especially the second one.

I wasn't overly happy with any of the songs. But i enjoyed the movie itself. The writing, and plot, meaning.
