That stuff's actually died down a lot in the past few months. You actually just popped in at, like, literally the worst possible moment. Anyways, yes, there's a lot of MLP R34 out there, and yes, some people in this thread look at it, but that's honestly no different than any other fandom. Name a franchise and I guarantee you there's porn of it.
