Origins remains my favorite game of all time, and so I have no hopes after what they followed such a great game with DA2. They need to drop the Mass Effect copying and keep having DA do it's own thing. And bring back multiple race options for the character.

Honestly, I think it would be way better if they made Mass Effect more like DA.

I'd love to play a Batarian anti-slaver.

And I don't mean lame up-down jetpacks like in BFII
I mean like Iron Man-level flying around like jets while still having a gun in your hand

Creative assembly is evil.

There is a certain part in the last third of Alien Isolation, if you are playing Isolation you will know this part when you get to it. And you will know why they are evil.

I thought with both Mass Effect and Dragon Age, they were making a trilogy and then they were done?...

At least they are apparently making a new IP.

I know. Exactly my point. I thought they were both supposed to be trilogies and then be done.

Nah I think having shepherd as the main character was really effective in the story and character development. But, now that the trilogy is done, the next game should definitely do that and be separate from the shepherd story line.

Bear in mind that this is without DLC; You may have bought a version with DLC, so that is a slight consolation.

My dad got The Vanishing of Ethan Carter because he got one of the fancy computers to work. I actually think it'd work on the computer my sister upgraded somewhat if the computer hadn't decided that it didn't like having 4 GB of ram in it...

Now I gotta decide between playing that, or Shadow of Mordor later...

SoM is fun, it's basically AC in Middle-earth, but the combat is far better.

Just wait for Activision to buy the franchise and turn it into a cover-based third person shooter.

Yeah. One review I saw for it said something like "Yeah, it's clearly inspired by Assassin's Creed, but it does it better than Assassin's Creed ever did". My first response in my head was "Ouch...."

I think Shadow of Mordor is like a mash up of Assassins Creed and Batman: Arkham Asylum in Middle Earth, with the really entertaining to mess around with nemesis system that makes the whole combat world feel so much more alive than "Hurr durr orc slaughter fest", even though there's a lot of that, too :P. And in general the world feels alive in a good way, instead of just like "Let's spawn stuff everywhere because". I've played my fair share of games like that, mostly free-to-play MMO's.

I think my dad said that the game can have up to 60 orc's on screen at once. I had a pretty ridiculous amount after me a few times while in strongholds...
