I was excited that the thread was back. And then I saw the title.....What the hell is a 3?

Anyways on topic, due to my copy of windows becoming fucked up beyond system restore/start up repair fixability, I am currently running my laptop of a Linux equiped Flash drive. As a result of this my Steam Library has shrunk significantly. I've always been a supertoer of releasing games on linux, but it's never really been something I've had to deal with. Seeing as I need a new cd-drive to use my windows reinstall discs, I'll likely be on linux for awhile. Anytone have suggestions for games?

So apparently the high performance Maxwell GPUs came out while I wasn't looking. I can apparently run two GTX 980s for only marginally more power than my 780.

The hype is real.

Edit: easy to use native SSAA for all games on the 900, future DX12 support, reduced latency for VR. I didn't want to update my card this soon. ;_;

May I make a suggestion, though? Like someone mentioned, we're technically on Thread for Gamers 4, because with the last thread we were parodying Valve's lack of ever making a third game. But because we're a bunch of nerds, we came up with specific thread titles. Right now, I feel like the name Thread 4 Gamers would be a good thread name, to parody Left 4 Dead game names.

Anyway, I have some things to post about, but I'll dig up the links and such when I get access to the laptop later.

You should at least get the Floris mod. Adds a lot without taking away from that vanilla feel.

Well, I never liked the vanilla feel, but whatever.

I've been surfing the freeware market and that's how I picked up SCP.

Now the challenge is to finish it without shitting myself multiple times.

Damn straight it does, there is nothing more annoying than being the top player in a strike or a PVP session and getting nothing, yet spazzy Mc Fuckface who died a dozen times for every kill and is right at the bottom of the list gets a rare PVP only obtainable weapon.

It makes you want to murder everyone and set the tower on fire sometimes.

And then other times you get half a dozen rare items in a few minutes of play and you are frothing at the mouth in glee.

edit: also yes, i have heard of the murder cave, i have frequented there several ti- Eh.. i mean no i would never game the system, i am the honourable grinder who would never do such a thing.

My dad said he went inside some dark building and got his ass kicked by level ??? enemies, so when I did the trial...I did the exact same thing. Because that's how I game. Somehow managed to get out alive, though...after getting all but like 5% of my health gone in one hit.

Those enemies are easy to kill, if you ranked past the soft cap of 20.
