I honestly liked all of the game, even with the absolute retardation that was the ending to 3.

Next satellite uplink is going online just barely before the Council Report, with the associated loss of three countries.

Mass Effect 2 is best Mass Effect, if less open ended than the first (I was dumbstruck by the Citadel after playing the two later games.

ME3 has a good multiplayer, bu it is pve not pvp.

I couldn't find the tank in RO2 as a AT Riflemen, so I got bored and decided to snipe with the AT rifle.

Fun was had.

Well, I play super carefully so I guess that's why.

I make sure to have backup for any unit I have attacking a alien.

It's hard to explain without spoilers, but I feel it is somewhat nonsensical, completely out of left-field, and a clear attempt to write in a mind-bending twist that just completely backfired and did not work.

I'm probably not going to lose anybody. I've got three countries on the brink, and I'll be able to put up four satellites by the end of the month. And if push comes to shove, I've got the Alien Base Assault in my back pocket.

The Internet spoiled me already.
Three choices, Shepard dies in almost all of them, but if you have enough military power he lives. You can use spoilers, it's fine.

I thought the main problem people had with it was that they promised that the endings would actually be different, but all they really did was slap a different filter on top of the same cutscene.

However, the people screaming "The entire game sucks because the ending wasn't that great!" need to be hit in the face.

Seriously, it might reduce my liking of it a bit, but people seem to act as if a lackluster ending to a game (or anything) destroys everything else that was good about it. The ending isn't the only freaking deciding factor people

To give you a simplified version, it's riddled with plot holes and bad writing.

To be honest, all of Mass Effect 3, except for the last 10 minutes, was pretty good.

Thank God Bioware wasn't lazy with the entire game like they were lazy with the ending.

Exactly. Which is why I hate it when I see people go out and talk shit about the whole game because of the ending being lackluster.

Also, on the subject of Mass Effect 4 being apparently a sequel instead of a new plot in the universe altogether...that doesn't make me that excited. I think they'd be better off doing a different story to be honest. Not continue the "trilogy"

The ending is the most important part of every single story ever written. If your ending is weak, your story is weak. If you ending doesn't exist, your story doesn't exist. Any literologist will be able to back me up here.

I've never finished ME3 so I can't exactly comment on its ending but this is a golden rule of writing. It's why Spellbreaker was a better story than Zork III, etc.

Still, I think it is silly to say that the entire story that is being told lies on what happens in a freaking ending. Yes, like I said, it can definitely decrease the value of the story being told, but I still don't like people disregarding an entire game solely because of an ending.

I hear Bioshock has a lackluster ending and everyone still loves that game.

BS1 or the series as a whole? Because BS:I had one of the best endings of any game I've ever played.

Bioshock 1. If I was referring to Bioshock: Infinite, I'd have typed out the full name :)
