I'd show up to the trial wearing a The Final Cut t-shirt. It would be fantastic.

Judging by where the progression of its settings, it's going to be set in the Himalayas during the second UN-China War. Either that or we'll be fighting neo-Soviets for helium three on the moon.

Nonsense, Britain doesn't have secret military bases.

IIRC at one point you could even use Google Earth to zoom in on the base where the UK keeps its nukes at Faslane.

Perhaps, but America has secret military bases in Britain.

Hell if you try to take a picture of the Department of Education you'll get arrested.

It's supposed to be largely tangential to the original trilogy, afaik. Different story in the same time and place and all that.

edit: turns out I've been out of the loop for too long, it's apparently a straight up sequel.

My dad was in the TA during the late 80,s to early 90's when the IRA were very active and has told me numerous stories of what can only be described as "British security'

Like the base that had a public footpath go right through the middle in Aldershot I think.

I don't think taking a photo of a military base in mainland Britain will get you arrested.

Jesus, I think I just fought off, like, 12 EXALT operatives at once, and it wasn't even close to the end of the mission.

Pulled it off with no casualties. Towards the end no ammo, either, but no casualties.
