He was trying to protect Anna.

Ah, so you didn't watch the movie.

Well, I never saw John Carter (and apparently no one else did either) so I can't choose that... Probably The Lion King as my favourite

No, you didn't, because if you had, you would know that is not at all what Hans was doing.

Thankfully, someone put up his retarded "I am actually evil, derp derp" speech so you can go watch it.

I consider Hans the attempted Savior of Europe. He locked Anna in the room to protect her from Elsa.

He clearly DID NOT, it is a matter of fact HE DID NOT, he very clearly states HE DID NOT, it's right fucking there, telegraphed so even morons can understand he did not.

Also, you do realize Arendelle is not an actual kingdom, right? It is never explicitly stated it's in Europe, or if it's even near Europe. It could be near Tselinoyarsk for all we know.

Based =/= Is

You've also not addressed the fact you appear to have problems with basic plot comprehension.

You think a murderous power-grabber is a hero, when he was about to murder the heroine and seal away a Queen for the crime of suffering a nervous breakdown in order to place himself at the helm of a country, a goal he was attempting to achieve previously by deceiving the heroine into marrying him, all of which are strictly in his own interest?

Hans was a petty crook who exploited the ignorance and fear of his people for his own benefit. He explicitly states this, by the way.

You're going to continue on with that rhetoric?

Better try a new angle.

Oh, right, Weselton's awful arguments jacked me and the thread.

God, I don't know... Gun to my head...

In terms of objective artistic quality, from what it contributed to art in general, placing it high above any feelings I might have for other movies, then it is most definitely Fantasia. What's amazing about it is that it has no unifying plot, and yet that doesn't matter. It's skits, by themselves, can serve the same purpose entire movies sometimes can't achieve. It has little dialogue, and yet the stories come across perfectly. Out of all the movies, I find it has the least problems. I personally found the ballet hippos part silly, even as a kid. Then again, I also don't personally like it over other movies.

My personal favourite is Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. I just love the world it creates, the story, and the fact it's all down and dirty and gritty. It's like if Warner Brothers actually made a good feature film. I'd love to see what would happen today if Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny had a conversation.

"So, eh, Mickey, how's them Joney Brothers workin' fer ya? Warm, cozy nights after 'em? Hee hee hee."

"Haha, you're so... Down to Earth, Bugs... I put a hit out on you..."

I also find myself attracted to some of the... Lesser Disney movies. Like, The Black Cauldron, a movie with so much promise that delivers so little.
