Fantasy's always not that bad like they teach us life lessons sometimes (which I agree, we can sometimes learn from the real world).
Personally, Harry Potter motivates me to be the best I can and be happy with what I have. That's one of the reasons I love it so much.

You seem to do this for anything fantasy related.

A lot I guess but the lessons are being taught are also on the same level. Both are valued in the series.

Harry Potter has nothing on LOTR in terms of a positive message.

Nobody reads fantasy for messages.

My favorite character was always Sirius. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Rowling's biggest mistake throughout the entire series was getting rid of Sirius as early as she did.

Snape killed me in the end with his past.
But should I just make another topic with the poll? I don't know how to put it up without making a new topic.

By the way, if any of you want me to make a new thread with the poll, what should I base the poll on? (characters or the houses)

Just edit the OP, and go down to poll creation.

Rowling has openly said that Sirius' fate was initially meant for Arthur Weasley, which would have made me a bit happier.

Wait I don't get it. Please explain. What does Mr. Weasley have to do anything with that?
