Debatable as to her morality, and Celestia was shot by Chrysalis, plus imprisoned by Nightmare Moon and tree; so she's had her share of damsel moments.

Think about it, they're both INTJs, they're both thousands of years old, and they both have a younger protege that admires them with fervor and perhaps romantic love.
