My first reaction to EQG once I actually got into the fandom, "Meh, seems like a normal show now, none of that specialness of MLP. I gave RR much more leeway than I gave original EQG

Normal kid's show you mean. Seinfeld never got a movie.

Further, how did not having a movie/the addition of a spin-off/the specific content of the spin-off contribute to the specialness of MLP? The great majority of fans of MLP, before EQG, wanted to see a movie made. Spin-offs maybe less so, but definitely not with the unabashed market-strategy influence... did I just answer my own question?
I’m mostly here for... something to do, I suppose.

I always guessed everypony was pissed off :p except Lyra's die hard fans (then totally dissapointed with no human Lyra :D)

By specialness I mean that special pony part, EQG kinda removed that in my "totally part of the fandom but still not full on member" mind of the time. Heh, Seinfeld movie, that would havve been cool.

So, awhile back I posted that the new naming/rearranging of the Hub looked like there would be no more 1 hour blocks. Well I just check and there's now 1 hour and 30 minute blocks.

Okay, but do we know if this practically affects the scheduling? As in, can two different programs be in one of these blocks, or does every block have to have the same program? (Of course, the former would make the whole concept of blocks seem superfluous...)
