EDIT: As a refutation, it should be noted that those reviews aren't the most accurate thing. both shows came in out in '84 when the interwbes was hardly a known thing, and that website would not have existed. That being said, our fandom is one of the largest in existence. So, yeah, checkmate bitches.

You were claiming all of his arguments were fallacious because they were based on the belief that G1 Transformers was/is more popular than G1 MLP. I don't know about the arguments themselves, but that belief is in itself not unreasonable or unfounded.
While these reviews are of course not the most accurate thing, they do indicate that, at least now people like G1T better than G1MLP. I was looking for TV ratings, which would've been a better indicator, but alas could not find them. That being said, the MLP fandom exists at such a scale that it does because of FiM, not because of the 1980s series or movie; many bronies ignore anything before G4, in fact. Thus the size of our current fandom cannot be taken to indicate the quality of the 80s series/movie in the least. So, no checkmate.
