Also, Grimdark and creepypasta are not the same thing. They really, really aren't.

I know, that's why I said 'or'.
Have you ever read Pegasus Device or Rainbow Factory? Now those are good grimdark stories! I enjoy reading things like those.

Lulz me too... not suicidal of course but it's been stuck in my head for quite a while.
Of course one of the engineers proved a point regarding the failures and Equestria's surivial depending on the pegasi.

Grimdark may be scary or disturbing, but the defining feature is that it's extremely bleak and depressing. Creepypasta may be bleak and depressing, but its defining feature is that it's disturbing and/or scary. There's a little bit of overlap, but it's generally easy to sort things into one or the other.

Again, this is the best way to describe it:
Holocaust = Grimdark.
Horror story = creepypasta.

You would definitely like Cupcake Chronicles! Of course Cupcakes is a creepypasta but its supposed successor is awesome and a well in-depth grimdark story that elaborates the setting by miles.
It's makes Pinkie the good guy...

New Babylonia wrote:Meh. Cupcakes was actually pretty meh at best. And woefully unrealistic. Rainbow Dash is way to physically strong for that to happen to her. Those restraints would've been snapped with ease, long before adrenaline kicked in.

"Those who reached my boundary, their seed is not; their hearts and their souls are finished forever and ever. As for those who had assembled before them on the sea, the full flame was their front before the harbour mouths, and a wall of metal upon the shore surrounded them. They were dragged, overturned, and laid low upon the beach; slain and made heaps from stern to bow of their galleys, while all their things were cast upon the water." - Ramesses III., Battle of the Delta

As per IMDb user ratings (I tried to find viewership ratings but nobody seems to keep track back that far):
Transformers (Series, 1984-1987): 8.0/10 from 13,561 reviews
My Little Pony n' Friends (Series, 1986-1987): 5.6/10 from 629 reviews
Transformers: The Movie: (Film, 1986): 7.4/10 from 29,360 reviews
My Little Pony (TV Film, 1984): 6.4/10 from 228 reviewsMagthere wrote:As for the Wonderbolts, the comparable elite fliers of the US Air Force, the Thunderbirds, have only 8 pilots, 6 for the shows and 2 in support. You'd have to be 1 in 38,625,000 to become one of those 8.
Funny, I always thought of the Wonderbolts as the Blue Angels (color of costumes etc.) but the Thunderbirds makes more sense with the name.
